Have you noticed your laptop getting super hot when gaming or doing CPU/GPU intensive tasks like rendering? Are you hitting 90°s @ 100% CPU usage?
Then you should definitely check the thermal paste quality of your laptop as you might be able to unlock extra performance!!!
Often manufacturers ship their so called gaming laptops with mediocre thermal paste installed but with this inexpensive upgrade you will be able to enjoy faster and cooler computing experience!

I can verify that the G3 3579 has many issues with thermal throttling. It can ruin game performance pretty substantially. The GPU doesn't get particularly hot, but the CPU seems to have many issues with thermals. When playing Battlefield 1, the CPU thermal throttles extremely hard and it can bog down the speed.

kyronaut suffers from pump out when over 80c. Not recommended for laptops which tend to have higher temps. Temps will climb higher with time due to the pump out. Hydronaut or other pastes are better for laptops.

Undervolting has been blocked in the newer bios versions (mine is 1.12.0). I tried ThrottleStop & XTU both. Bios downgrade is also blocked. I tried multiple things (except a new bios chip, will do that soon). whats your bios version (so that I know what version I need)? I can still make changes to the GPU with MSI Afterburner. I think Intel is behind these shenanigans

I bought the new 11900h OLED Razer Blade Advanced and the bitch hits 100 degrees while gaming brand new. Technically it only spikes to 100 degrees but runs on 70s-80s. I am already considering opening it up and repasting with Kryonaut.

Do it man, absolutely worth it. I recently opened up a 10 month old Lenovo Legion 5p with RTX2060 and the paste on that was a mess (OEM). Too much quantity overflowing over the CPU and GPU die, and the thermal paste was really bad quality (cakey, and bubbled). I put some Kryonaut and immediately saw improvement on the temps! 👌

How long did the paste last- reports say as little as 2 weeks and as long as a year depending on usage, application quality and sheer luck
@GaijinInvader
@GaijinInvader 3 жыл бұрын
2 weeks??? This is misinformation for sure! Even the cheapest type of thermal paste last for about 1-4 years easily under normal usage. If you're an overclocker or keep your pc running 24/7 you would do it once a year but anything more often than that is an overkill IMHO...

@@GaijinInvader the main problem is pump out which some people face- I doubt you use this laptop often for gaming otherwise this probably would’ve happened to you as well
@GaijinInvader
@GaijinInvader 3 жыл бұрын
@@VongolaEX10 what exactly do you mean by pump out? 🤔
@VongolaEX10
@VongolaEX10 3 жыл бұрын
@@GaijinInvader pump out effect is where when you’re using a viscous paste on a bare die application (like a laptop) and the mounting pressure isn’t sufficient the heat cycles (like when you’re gaming you go from 50 C to at least 80-85) which cause tiny amounts of thermal expansion and compression of the heatsink and die which eventually makes all the paste in your application be ‘pumped out’ from between the die and heatsink. For some people it’s pretty common- some people could last up to and more than a year but that’s only if they can drastically reduce the temperatures to around 60-75 for gaming, don’t use the laptop often or they rarely use the laptop for heavy load usage That’s why I am very interested with how you use this computer and how long have you had your application
@VongolaEX10
@VongolaEX10 3 жыл бұрын
Also kryonaut isn’t a long lasting paste- even Thermal Grizzly says that- also another note the paste can prevent deterioration as long as the temperatures are below 80 C by up to 3-4 times better than once you pass 80 C
