It's good to meet another fellow core P8 user I ordered mines a few short months and planning to also build my new customer water loop by next month hopefully, waiting for the new Samsung 57 inch super ultrawide 4k monitor to come out and waiting to see when Thermaltake is releasing their new Toughpower iRGB PLUS 1250W Titanium - TT Premium Edition, currently have one but it's the last gen one non ATX 3.0

Can you confirm what max length of VGA will fit this case? It's crazy that 626mm cannot fit 340mm card( I was told by reseller). I will not use water cooling ( probably I will go with aio)

@@BiggieBUL No, and if you plan on getting it it will cost a lot in fans unless you’re getting non rgb. It’ll look awkward it a good portion of the slots aren’t filled. I like the case though, super roomy, needs a good 25 in depth desk at least.

Ok, I'm sold. I've been using my level 10GT still and wasn't that thrilled with the level 20 that came out. So with next years tax returns I'm getting this. Hopefully there will be a combo deal with the Pacific kit and rgb fans.

Excellent improvement of those HDD holders over the ones included with the Core P5. Interesting P8 front panel splits USB with two 2.0 and 3.0, where as the P5 was all four USB 3.0.

So there’s only a filter for the right top and bottom? So are those intended to be the only intake sides? It would seem very counter productive to have the right side fans next to the front side fans doing opposite flow directions.

@@garrickadams7962 depends on what you’re going for. The 7000D is a good case for normal air cooled builds. Even an AIO. Custom water cooling will be tricky because it is a smaller case. I enjoy my P8 case and if your goal is custom water cooling, the case has more then enough room for pretty much anything you can put in it. I don’t know the size of the 7000D but the P8 is BIG. Big and heavy. The case comes with tempered glass and is made from metal. It’s the real deal. So if size is an issue pick the 7000. If you don’t have any size or weight constraints pick the P8. If you’re going for a normal, not to crazy build with a few fans. Pick the 7000. Pick the P8 for a custom loop and tons of fans and room.

Can anybody confirm if EATX fits correctly in the case? I’ve seen a couple of posts with pictures complaining that stand-off configuration for EATX boards puts the I/O like and inch or two away from where it’s actually supposed to sit flush to the hole, but even more annoying, EATX motherboards cover up the grommeted holes to the right for power/sata/fan cable management.

Nice, dont understand though why GPU can only be 320mm long if no reservoir, the space looks massive, I was getting this case until I saw the max GPU size, my GPU is 338mm, in another video some guy fits a msi gaming trio that is 323mm in this case, so can someone explain why 320mm is the limit without a custom water loop, thanks

One last thing for only offering 3x 3.5" drive mounts you should at least throw in a 3x drive cage for us to place up front near the PSU. I wouldve moved this case up to the top of my list with the Lian Li 011D XL (can hold 4x3.5" and 3x2.5" simultaneously) and the Level 20 XT which as you know has the two 3x drive cages in their own storage area but the case is a mammoth and not as eye appealing as the Core P8 and cable management is non-existent on the 20 XT.

Just Build my system in it , dropped 3x8tb Barracudas old school mechanical 3,5 drives , it would be nice to have 4 , for me unfortunately barracuda no1 dead on arrival...BTW 2,5 drives and of course nvme ;)

Is there a way to mount the power supply horizontally? I have the Asus ROG Thor 850p power supply which has an OLED panel with live wattage and RGB strip on the side. Because of the included bracket position that OLED display is facing the bottom making my power supply features useless. Please let me know if there are custom bracket I can purchase or any other way with which I can mount my PSU horizontally and get the OLED display on the side.

Thumbs up for finally seeing a return to common sense! Ports and power button on the FRONT of the case where you can actually reach them, Not on the top where you have to get out of the chair to plug a USB stick into. Not sure what many manufacturers and designers are thinking, Back to basics like this case please. Most people have their case on the desk not under the table, Especially if it's a water cooled/rgb show piece. So having ports at the front is where they should be where you can use them easily, Not on the top.

I don't get it either. You could fit a 16" long (~40cm) GPU in there, it looks like - assuming anyone actually makes them that large, which they don't as far I know. I'm considering this case for my next build and at first I considered the P6 but I thought why not get the bigger version, for more space and modding flexibility. But the 320mm GPU length limit stated makes zero sense. I'll be looking to buy the MSI 4090 Suprim X when the prices aren't insane, and that GPU is 336mm in length. There seems to be no real reason it won't fit.

Seems like every case on the market thats decent looking limits us to 3-4 HDDs (with the exception of the Corsair 7000x that has two 3xHDD cages at the bottom of the case but I think one of those cages has to be removed in order to fit a radiator+fans on the front size.) Its so difficult finding a sharp looking case that can house our RAID systems without having to remove HDD cages to make room for LCS. I think at this point of my search I'm going to just forget about the storage needs for a nice looking LCS case and just 3D print a RAID enclosure. BTW the Thermaltake View 71 includes two 2xHDD cages and 3xHDD mounts on the back of the case which can be used to mount 6xSSD/4xSSD+1HDD/2xSSD+2HDD). Yes theres other cases that can 6-12 HDDs but they arent set up to be proper LCS and theyre an eye sore to look at. I have a 4xSSD and 4xHDD RAID config and currently like this, Thermaltake View 71, their Core P6 TG, Core P8 TG, Lian Li O11D XL (top contender since it has 4 Hotswap bays for HDDs, and room for 6xSSD even though I dont need that many SSD space. I wish they made a nice hotswap bay for the SSD too. It would be nice if we can move the Lian Li O11 XL PSU to the front of the case, use its bay to house 4xSSD hotswap cage, and make the case long enough to still put in a 360 radiator in the bottom of the case. I like cases where we can see the PSU.. not hide it in the back or under a shroud. Why oh why is there not one perfect case out there? They all just come close to it but never hit the bullseye. Seriously why arent there any designers who say "ok lets design a case for those with Raid 5/6 configurations, Who want the full blown LCS with 3 360 radiators on front, top and bottom, and show off their RGB PSU? in the front behind Glass? Heck if they made a shroud out of clear plexi with holes cutout, or tempered glass I would prefer that as well. What pisses me off the most about this case is they actually have the room to in the storage are of the case to add more drives mounts or even stack cages vertically as hot swap like the lian li did but they didnt. Heck they couldve just widened the storage area of the case an inch and stack two drives vertically side by side and have enough room for 3 cages of 2x hard drives stacked on top of each other. Couldve threw some on the front under the IO panel too.

If this case had the separate storage area on the side like the Lian Li 011D has with its two 2x hot swap hard drive cages and 3x SSD mounts this case would be a game changer and would fly off the shelves... ESPECIALLY if they put the hot swap hard drive doors in the front side of the storage case and not the back like Lian Li did. Lian Li ALMOST made the perfect case except they screwed it up by hiding the PSU (some of us like to show off our RGB PSU, and our PSU that have those monitors on them, and by having crappy SSD mounts hidden behind a cable hider panel. Why is there NO companies making a sweet ass Liquid cooling case for gamers who also have RAID setups? Yes we are few but we arent that rare of a user. I already read comment in every video I watched on all these cases by people who need more drive storage and were so frustrated they wanted to build their own case because these companies are nothing but jackasses trying to make money by appealing to the kiddy gamers and not the adults who actually do other shit with their PC.

Esse gabinete possui algumas falhas absurdas de design, primeiramente as costas, a placa mãe, de video e fonte ficam recuadas a chapa e não no mesmo nível, então além de ficar uma Greta enorme entre a chapa e as peças o que entra uma sujeira absurda isso dificulta pra caramba pra colocar e tirar os cabos. 2 falha, a posição dos HDs é a pior possivel, um cabo de energia normal de fonte vem 3 salas em sequência em ângulo, deste modo você só consegue consegue usar as três tomadas se os HDs estiverem um em cima do outro, mas nesse gabinete não tem como fazer isso, e como o cabo é em ângulo ele não conecta, tive que comprar extensor de energia reto pra salvar parte dos HDs... Apesar de em desuso, hd normal é necessário, tive que comprar dois suportes verticais para parafusar em fan 120 mm pra colocar meus HDs de 10 e 14 tb na parte frontal, pra poder salvar o cabo de energia da fonte que não chegava atrás.... outra falha grave é o vidro superior que retém muito ar quente visto que a saída é bem estreita, vou ter que fazer um vidro vazado ou chapa sob medida pra resolver isso.... Honestamente, ele tem muito espaço mas é absurdamente mal aproveitado, o forte dele é apenas a quantidade de ventoinhas ou usar uma bomba de refrigeração sob medida, fora isso não recomendo pra um usuário tradicional de HDs, gravadores ou que precise mexer muito nos cabos ou arrastar o gabinete...

what really make me not to buy it the fact there are many holes make this case is not a close case ....look to the io area the gpu why that all open area also on the top ....look at the power supply it is totally inside that even the power cord must go inside the case Stupide design ...it has to be modified or else it will get too much Dust from outside easily.
