Honestly, I've never beaten Minecraft either. I've been playing since 2014 or 2015, and yet I somehow have never legitimately found the end and killed the ender dragon. After watching this video, I think that I might go do it myself.

Someone else has probably already commented about the dogs, but just in case, here's an explanation of what happened. Your 4 dogs from the beginning of the video didn't die or despawn when you got too far away, you just left the chunk of the world that they were in before they could teleport to you. Minecraft worlds are split into 16-block squares literally called "chunks," and depending on your render distance, only a specific amount of chunks are loaded at any given time. If you get too far away from your pets too quickly, their chunk becomes unloaded to save on memory/improve performance. That way, your game doesn't have to animate individual cows and chickens walking around 1000 blocks away from you, since you're not looking at them anyways. When your dogs teleported back to you near the end, either you or Matt got within a few chunks of where you last left the dogs, and the game loaded them again. To prevent this from happening again, either go slower when traveling with pets, or stagger your travels with other players in the world so that you have a wider range of chunks loaded at a given time!

In terms of fursonas, birds are rarer but still common when compared to everything. Bluejays and parrots making up most of the ones Ive seen witha few occasional crows. As a shark, my sona is rare but not so rare that you dont see them at all like certain insect species.

Minecraft has been my favourite game in the entire world ever since I got my first console in 2011, an xbox 360. It was janky, it was simple, and it was awesome. For me, "beating minecraft" has never been the ender dragon. It's been about "man, with the new update, i can fix this roof," "man, I wanna upgrade this farm," "man, i wanna show my brother this parkour arena i just made." It's about the memories i'm creating, the creativity i'm channelling to be better and do more. Minecraft never runs out of stuff in my little worlds because who needs netherite, who needs god level enchants, who needs an elytra, what i need is a new silo for my wheat expansions to continue the stories about my land.
