Thank you for this video!! My alternator belt just snapped on my APU and this video helped a lot…Funny thing, I just did maintenance on it at home before hitting the road. As soon as I started the APU while I waited to get loaded for my first load heading out…BOOM! The belt broke. Gives me something to do when I go back lol

How do you keep the pulley from spinning when trying to loosen the nuts on the water pump?

Pry bar or screw driver positioned between bolts

@@bubbleheadtrucker that's what my brother said to, screw driver. I tried using two 10mm ratchet wrenches and couldn't get the nuts broke loose. Guess I need to soak em in wd40 or something first. Belt looks like dog shit, but it's not tight enough to just snap. Surprised it even turns the pulley with engine running.
