The ThermoPro TP-16 food thermometer allows an experienced or inexperienced cook to measure the internal temperature of their meat, accurately and quickly. With the STEP-DOWN probe tip design and LCD display, getting and seeing an accurate temperature is simple. Either place on your counter with the flip out stand or magnetize to a metal surface, be it a BBQ or oven. Don't worry about losing track of time as this cooking thermometer also contains a timer. Lastly, if you aren't a pro in the kitchen, we include USDA approved preset temperatures.

Do you have any idea if there's a way to calibrate this thermometer? If so, I don't recommend using it if you want accurate temperature readings. I just calibrated a few thermometers and found out that this one reads 6 degrees Fahrenheit higher than the actual temperature.

Hi, device just arrived. I need it to beep when it reach certain temperature, but backwards. After milk reaches 100°C, I leave it to cold, and when it reaches 50°C, It is ready for domestic yogurt to be made. Problem is that I cannot set it to beep from 100°C to 50°C, if temperature is higher than 50°C it starts to beep. Is there a way to set this, or if not, does Thermopro have device that can do this? Thanks!

This device is not capable of this but our TP17 is capable with it's temp range mode.
