That’s actually what I did this past year when Texas had the worst heat wave I’ve been in since the year 1998 usually when it gets to 105 or 110 will keep the air conditioner up to 76 or 77 so the way that it will turn off and on off and on But if you put it down to like 72 or 71 if it stays on you’re gonna be paying 700 sometimes through a little bit over $1000 electric bill so if you keep it above 76 or 77 trust me it works. And also to keep your house nice and cool tell your kids not to open the windows or open the doors
