Love this smoker. Sadly in Vegas don’t use in wind or summer. Wind the flame keeps blowing out and summer even in the shade, doesn’t get a smoke well. The flame drops fast thinking it’s at its 225 but really it’s the summer heat that throws it off. Other then that. This thing is great and customer service are very helpful.

The smoker should have swivel casters on ALL 4 LEGS for easier movement, the info tag on the back of the unit should be at the top for easy viewing@, not the bottom! you should have 2 handles, not 1, simple changes! 😊

Make sure you put the racks in the smoker the correct way. Otherwise the rack will fall out of the smoker if you pull it out too much!! I dont know if this problem could be cured by making the rack the same at both ends??

For anyone who is buying a master built beware because I received one in a box that was totally destroyed and re-taped and yet I did not get any type of open box or damage discount. Then to top it off there is no telephone number to call and they force you to contact them online. This mean they can take up to a week or more to get back to you or even if you need a replacement part. If I could do it again I would buy a different brand or one that I can get at a store that is easily returnable.

This one I was looking for but instead I got the Masterbuilt 40” temperature charcoal smoker and CAN NOT CONTROL THE TEMP ON IT set my temperature goes over all the time tryed wood had to take charcoal basket out ???? Even in the break in it shot way over temp had keep open the door ??? For the 379 or 359 I’m not happy

2 handles would have made it alot easier to lift it up into my pickup truck!! I use a stick on gasket to keep the smoke in!! On both doors!

I took the controls out of an old wall gas heater and installed it on my smoker.

sure wish my electric would keep up. I can't seem to get a consistent temp out of mine unless it is really warm outside, and even then it has a hard time. Already replaced the control unit.

Hi Rene, unfortunately the capabilities of our ThermoTemp are only available as an entire product. It's a great addition to any home with smokers because of the higher temperatures at which you can smoke at, opening the door for endless options!!

Has anyone had issues with this smoker when they ignite it? Mine has a burst of propane that is kinda loud and can be seen as alarming when I turn it on

Too bad the flame sensor wire seems to shut the flame off even when it's red hot

Hey masterbuilt how are you today I gave you new ideas about your smokers back in 2006 2007 and she was 2006 caught up and give you guys information and you stole them from me next time I get smarter cuz you're perfect perfected even better than what you have it next song get smarter and you'll pay me for it instead of stealing me and taking my ideas
