I bought the rfx 4 probe starter bundle and I really like it so far. It replaced my smoke x4 and is so much easier to keep clean. I still use my thermopen 1 to double check when I am cooking but they are usually at most 1 degree different. Good job thermoworks 👍👍

That's awesome! We're big fans so far too!

This thing handles distance like a champ. And loved using it on a hot sear for thick steaks.

Love this! Simple setup and reliable connectivity and range. It doesn’t have predictive cook time, but personally for me, predictive cook times are generally unreliable as there are too many variable that can adversely affect accurate predictions. This is, hands down, the best temperature monitoring system I’ve ever used.

We want to know - what kind of wireless thermometer do you own? Did you pick up the RFX by Thermoworks?

Great device but the software needs works… half baked… lacks predictive cooking functions

In our full review we point out that the accuracy of the ambient temperature probes on Meater and similar units are not accurate by several degrees. As such, the predictive modeling done on the apps is also off because of that. So at the moment, it’s really not a tool that adds value. We do agree that the UX for the app could be improved and simplified for multiple RFX probes.

If you can do wireless meat probes why not a wireless ambient probe. Make it look different than the meat probes so you don't mix them up

That idea has been shared with the team at Thermoworks, I am hoping that they can modify an RFX probe so that it can monitor the ambient temperature more accurately. I also think they are planning more integrations with other products.
