It starts before I leave my home . Getting my positive mindset and goals for my day. Being upbeat and positive because that first door is sometimes a great appointment for a next day and a close. Or possibly a same day. I always tell myself I am absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to the homeowner when I get there. They have a problem I can solve it and there’s only one Rob. My quote that’s on my wall ” I’m hear to help “

Of course I like your door knock I have been using that since 2017. One Saturday morning I was working with a new kid and he was working across the street for me and he pounded on the door like the police were there? Literally two people went out the back door and nobody answered the front door. My customer opened up the door and I could not get my pitch out I said I will be back this afternoon. We are doing roofs in the area right now but I have to go take care of this new person across the street right now ! He is pounding on the door like police the gentleman laughed and said no problem . Thank goodness

I love everything you said and above all else, your willingness to serve your community. One thing Id just say or might disagree with is not ringing a doorbell camera because the owner might be away. Ive set so many appointments up through that doorbell camera. Just having a quick 1 minute conversation can lead to a sale, rather than not speaking to them at all and they just toss your door hanger. To even add to That, ive replaced so many door hangers with mine. So im sure mine would get replaced by the next guy also. If a home owner is maybe thinking of getting a roof replaced or looked at its really a race on who speaks to them first.
