Honestly, i think not killing their draw-engine-creature instead of the lampard did cost you game 1. They heavily built around that card and it drew them a sh*-load of cards. Btw: The 'unsummon' of the set can only target the opponents creatures

I think in game one, at 32:30, there is 0 reason to kill the Lampad over the 5/4 and I think you win this game without that mistake. You are at 8 life, but with Tymaret in play and 4 creatures in the yard, you're functionally at 12. Opponent has 14 cards in library and the probability of getting burned out from there by the Lampad seems non-existent. It turns out you just got bopped by the 5/4 and that 5 life was more than the Lampad was ever going to do to you. Just my two cents.

That card is a trap, have played it myself once and it was quite bad, and have played against people with it and it was also bad for them, the situations were that card is good dont come up too often honestly.

It's like a budget bomb. It forces your opponent to have no cards and to fight your board with what they have. It kills your opponent quickly, but sucks if you're in disadvantage as it's a terrible blocker that gets weaker on your opponents turn

The rites have to be bugged, at least usually when a card says a name of a card it means itself. Otherwise if you play oblivion ring and you have an Oblivion ring on the battlefield you get to exile two cards. this interaction sure might be different but i doubt that.

I googled Catoblepas the other day and apparently it’s pronounced cat-o-bleps which blew my mind. I can’t even fathom how we were supposed to come to that conclusion just by looking at the letters.

With no disrespect, I googled the pronunciation, looked it up on Wikipedia, looked it up on other sites, checked reddit where they cite it from wizards/ dnd book, and watched a KZbin video on how to pronounce it. It’s pronounced as it is spelled out

I think "Aura" is pronounced like "Awe" (Aw-ruh), not (Ah-rah).

I speak the same dialect ("accent") of American English as Kenji (Pacific NW) and to us there's no distinction between those sounds in that specific context. In fact, "Awe" is commonly pronounced as a monophthong rather than a diphthong in this region of the United States.
