I would’ve loved to have seen adult Timmy again however I do think it was a good choice to have him not show up so that his appearance wouldn’t take away from the new protagonist Hazel’s story. The idea is good, but best saved for later on when they know the series is reaching its climax. Having Hazel at her lowest, then suddenly meeting an adult Timmy, who gives her some unexpected advice would be quite a good scene.

That was the one thing in the live action movies I genuinely thought was really nice in that it was acknowledged that, while some of them were at least partly his fault, Timmy has saved Fairy world (and the world in general) more than a few times, wisholeogy especially. I would hope he at least gets the exception of remembering them (or idk maybe he gets another muffin before then or finds Norm the genie or something and wished for it).

It would be soo cool to see -Hazel giving Dev Norm -Norm telling Dev about Cosmo and Wanda due to his personal hatred towards them -Dev gets a bit jealous but for some reason can't find it in himself to hurt Hazel -Dev and Hazel are friends again -Dev and Hazel now have a new common enemy. I think a social worker or school counselor could be a good way to bring him back, and then have the twist be that he does remember Cosmo, Wanda, and Peri. With him being a set of friendly eyes for Fairy World on Earth to keep an eye on godkids and on groups like the Galax Institute, but with him being under a similar rule to where fairy godparents can’t tell their kids about other fairies and godkids and have to figure it out on their own. But once they do they can go to him for advice. Since being the guy who single handedly doubled the size of Da Rules he might make a good person to discourage wishes that could majorly backfire. Maybe have Hazel learn the truth by entering the castle and finding the Hall of Timmy. Along with hints like pink and green pens on his desk when Hazel gets first introduced to him either early in the episode or even in the season if they want to make it an overarching plot line.

The discourse I have seen from some smaller creators about Timmy showing back up is wild. This is probably the most faithful adaptation we have gotten in a long time. I would go so far as to argue this show destroys late series original Fairly OddParents. So many people think that Timmy's return would be detrimental to the show, as if it somehow would invalidate Hazel and the new crews dynamic. I think it is the opposite. Him coming back, in a meaningful and well thought out way, could be the perfect passing of the torch for many older fans. A way to honor what was and now what is, bridging the gap between audiences.

Okay, I have a new theory. The devs are waiting for the _perfect ocassion_ to introduce Timmy to the series. The solution? _Timmy absolutely has to work at the GALAX-Institute._ Why? Because the series needs to establish a connection with Timmy and Hazel's Dad. If they were coworkers at the Institute, it's likely they would spend time together and maybe even form a friendship. Heck, they could probably have been friends before Hazel's Dad got the job there, and it could be _because of Timmy's recommendation_ that he got the job. (He is friends with the CEO and Founder after all.) So why does Timmy need to be friends with Hazel's dad? And not just casual at-work friends but actual, longtime, I-see-you-as-a-brother friends? Simple... So that the series can introduce Timmy and reveal that _he is Hazel's Godfather._ That Timmy is so close with Hazel's dad that he appointed Timmy as a potential caretaker in case anything happened to him and his wife. Imagine how fitting that would be - firstly, it would reveal that Timmy is the reason Hazel moved to Dimmadelphia in the first place, thus getting Cosmo and Wanda. And second, it would make Timmy a part of the girl's family, thus justifying why he'd be around. And thirdly; it would be so fitting to complete the cycle. Timmy was a miserable, misunderstood kid, who needed his fairy godparents to lean on. Now he gets to be an actual godparent to this girl and form a close bond with her; being for her what he needed someone to be for him.

I think maybe a cameo of him interacting with Hazel once and doing something nice might be cool. Maybe eventually we find Hazel has become friends with his kid who also has Fairies. Eventually, something happens that Jorgen himself decides the only way to stop something bad, is to bring back the Chosen One and thus authorize Cosmo and Wanda to give Timmy Back his memory. Timmy not having access to fairies and such being addressed by Cosmo being nostalgic, kept every magical gift Timmy ever got like the stuff from Abracatastrophy so he'd have the magic to battle alongside Hazel, his kids, and others for a season finally. Ideally this would be him doing cameos through season 2 and 3 until being brought back in Season 3s finally to help Hazel save the day.

One thing I always envisioned for adult Timmy and Chloe is for the two of them to be high end lawyers. Specifically Chloe would be a defense attorney, while Timmy is a contract lawyer. Which I feel fits them, Chloe is obsessed with justice and fairness and would go to crazy lengths to make it possible (to the point she’s managed to frighten Anti-Fairies who are masters of fear), meanwhile Timmy has made so many wish loopholes that Da Rules had to be mostly rewritten and likely a second volume had to be made, in short finding a way around a seemingly impossible situation is his specialty. Another thing I could see for them is the two of them to still have their memories of fairies, not because Jorgan never erased their memories, but because of the biggest inconsistency that memory wipe created. Basically when Timmy and Chloe first became friends, the two of them were such polar opposites that if not for them having to share Cosmo and Wanda and fixing Chloe’s first disaster wish together they would have never become friends. Can you imagine them somehow ending up on fairy world and Jorgan goes to erase their memories of it only for them to look him in the eyes and say “Hi Jorgan” 🤣

I have a theory about Timmy. I noticed that in Hazel's school, the mascot was Timmy as a squirrel (which is probably a reference to the Squirrel Scouts). So there might be a possibility that either he was the founder of the school, or he was the original principal but something happened that caused the new principal to take over. As for his return, I'd like to see him interact with Dev. Since he knows how it feels to have neglectful parents. Maybe Dev could run away from home and stay with Timmy's family for awhile. He doesn't have to adopt him or anything, but I could see the two of them bonding.

7:20 To be fair, this scene appears to have been retconned by the fact Cosmo and Wanda aren't his children's godparents. Not to mention the fact that the environment isn't as futuristic. The scene as a whole is somewhat of a joke, as he wanted to prevent making the same mistake as his parents, but ended up doing so anyway due to the memory loss. If he did appear and still have kids, not only would I like for them to lack godparents (showing they don't need any) like he wanted, it would be hilarious if traits from his children also include Chloe as possible mother, not just Tootie and Trixie.

Honestly really like the idea someone else said in the comments about something really big happening and Timmy being called in to work alongside Hazel as 'The Chosen One'. Ive also seen it mentioned that maybe Hazel could be friends with his kids, but I dont think that will be the case because in CC we see that they have Cosmo and Wanda, which means it has to happen AFTER Hazel doesnt have them anymore. So they are likely babies right now or not even born. Ultimately I just think it would be nice to reunite with his fairy family, even if its only briefly. Especially for Peri's sake. While its obvious Cosmo and Wanda still care about him, in the end..theyve been fairies since...forever. Theyve had like..hundreds of godkids, they are used to seeing them grow up. But Peri isnt. He was born because of Timmy, Timmy is his brother..and now Timmy doesnt remember him. I honestly think that may be part of the reason for his identity change. Timmy should be a reoccuring character that goes unnamed, and hes a social worker that helps kids feel better about their lives, but in the process kids lose their fairies since they dont need them anymore and the season finale has him go into fairy world by accident walking into cosmo and wandas apartment, and he retains his memory only in fairy world to help dev and hazel keep their fairies after helping them using his matured social worker brain.

Since I started rewatching the old show, it is my new headcanon that Timmy would go into social work or teaching-something that lets him be better than the adults (and teenager) in his life. Or maybe he went into writing since I headcanon that a majority of his memories with his fairies were daydreams or his own imagination. Either way, I want to see a happy, healthy and loved older version of Timmy. Also if they're bringing back legacy characters, I would like for Wandissimo (is that you spell that?) to make an appearance/speaking role. Is he still lusting over Wanda? Has he finally moved on? Did he get into a relationship with Cupid? (I ship them now) I need answers!!! Just can't wait for Netflix to drop those episodes!

I think the creators were right when they decided to not give him back in season 1 as it is about Hazel. But I really want to see him in season 2 and know what he is doing, his kids and etc. But mostly I hope that Timmy will still remember Cosmo and Wanda and could meet them sometimes. Like they were so close, they were like family and it would be sad if he actually forgot him... It could be interesting if he would appear in a special episode or the final of season where he helps Hazel for example to rescue the faires or sth. He doesn't need to be in many episodes or the main character in some of them, because it's Hazel time, but still he can remember right? It can add many interesting scenarios if he still will remember. And what if he was some kind of agent for fairy word? Helping Jorgen in some things?

If I had to pick when Timmy should return, I think he should return at the end of season 2. Or if the show gets a season 3, it should be the season 3 premiere! But I'm honestly glad he didn't show up they would have blown their load way too soon in my opinion.

Definitely jumping the gun with this idea, but I think a meaningful way to give Timmy purpose in a later season would to have Dale do something heinous that would lead to his arrest, leaving Dev alone to have him be consoled by a older Timmy (via the pre-mentioned job as a social worker or whatever) and have Timmy ultimately ask if he'd liked to be rehomed with him and his family, giving him a father that'll acknowledge his existence like he wished.

I'd be interested in an episode where Hazel tries to sneakily get Cosmo, Peri, and Wanda a brief reunion with him He's visiting AJ in the city before moving far away, and Hazel tries to get them a reunion. With Jorgan trying to stop Hazel because of "Da Rules" and also him hating Timmy's guts for all the chaos he caused We can learn about how they coped with the day Timmy lost his fairies and after that we never see him again It was a catch-up and goodbye

In "Crock to the Future" when Mr. Crocker cover the whole Galax Institute building with a butterfly net, outside the building's parking lot, I spotted The "Turner's family car" a "Green Station Wagon" from the original Fairly OddParents series. I think a good way to introduce Timmy is comic con. Hazel is excited to go to comic con to meet one of her favorite writers. Who wrote The new adventures of the crimson chin, Dark laser, crash nebula the movie, terror of the evil babysitter, the Ultimate catman, Mark Chang alien in exile,and the misadventures of Norm the evil genie. It is revealed he is making an announcement of a new series he is working on. It is revealed to that Its Timmy who is Hazels favorite writer. The plot of the episode would be Vicky trying to sabotage Timmy's big announcement because Timmy is the one who exposed Vicky as an evil babysitter and got her kicked out of Dimsdale. So hazel and Peri are trying to stop Vicky while Cosmo and Wanda are in line to see Timmy. After her plan blows up in her face Vicky makes a last attack only for timmy to stop her. He make his new announcement about his new series called Fairly Odd parents about a 10 year old boy who is given fairy god parents who grant his wishes. After realizing Hazel saved his announcement and he see Cosmo and Wanda he autographs a poster for his new series and gives it to hazel saying these are the best years of your life and one to Cosmo and Wanda saying you are the best godparents any one could wish for. Thats when we the audience discover Timmy still remembers.

While I dont want timmy to completley over shadow hazel as the protagonist, I would at least like a special focused on giving him one last adventure to wrap up his character arc. I mean, I can't be the only one who feels underwhelmed by the fact that the show had constant specials like the wishology saga, secret wish, channel chasers, abra-catastrophe, etc only to have the entire show end with a run of the mill episode even if that final episode wasn't bad.
