Good for you group!!!! The last time I danced an eightsome was in Romania years ago at the British Embassy. I worked for the US Embassy. The knees have gone, but I enjoyed dancing all over the world. Nothing takes the place to delight the soul and lift the spirits like Scottish Country dancing! Thank you for sharing this with those of us around the world. For me it is Knoxville TN. Bless you all and those you love. Dan

Best dance flash mob ever! I watched this again today to get inspired to play for dancing tomorrow night - this is the essence of what Scottish dancing should be - pure joy!

Wonderful performance by all including just a laugh from the lower group when someone when a small bit wrong, no drama.😊

Bob (Parsons) how marvellous too see your name here. The Dancing if course spoke for itself, but thank you for giving us the name of the accordionist, Frank Thomson. The musicians do not always get the credit they deserve, yet where would we be without them? Can't wait to see you back on the drums once this Covid stuff has been tamed.

I've been eagerly anticipating an SCD flash mob, and now, here one is! I really loved the blind fellow blithely passing through the set, as everyone danced on without any problem. How wonderfully inclusive is our SCD.

my especial congratulations to the senior citizens in this dance....... I'm 62 myself, and I'm damn sure I couldn't find that much energy for a dance. let alone a public one.

+Bryan Greenacre The great thing about SCD is that you CAN do it, no matter what your age! I don't get much lift-off these days at the age of 67 and I may ache like crazy afterwards, but it's the best tonic in the world for keeping your brain and your body functioning. You should give it a try!

+Miss Merrily Alas, I'd turn SCD from a fine tradition into slapstick comedy

Absolutely fantastic - the music, the dancers, the atmosphere of pure fun, and the blind guy adds a brilliant twist and shows just how coordinated and in time with the music the dancers were, for one second out could have been bad news for him and others! The music was spot on in timing and variety - well done to the musicians - cannae beat a box and a fiddle session - Fantastic - I do SCD myself , not expert, but this was just brilliant - only regret is I wasn`t there to see it "live"....

Yes indeed! There'd be no Scottish dancing without our brilliant music and musicians.

would love to learn Scottish Country Dancing but no one teaches it around Chester Nova Scotia Canada. I love the music Of Jimmy Shand and many others nothing gets me going quite like a Scottish Country Dance Band
