Blows & Unkind Words is the first single from The Rumjacks second album 'Sober & Godless' which was released 2015.
Calling out ‘Adults’ on their shitty childish behaviour toward one another, especially in the age of Social Media where courage is not a prerequisite. Our beautiful world is going to Hell around our ears and most of us can’t get past name calling and melodrama, much less tackle anything more serious than opening a packet of crisps. Get up, get real & get on with it.

Anthony was a legend. Never met him, but he was best mates with a very good mate of mine for about 38 years before he passed away. I’ve just got to hear about this band a few hours ago, they are brilliant, they are top class, they are first class, a hard rocking punk folk band. What more could you ask for in your life, excellent lyrics, top players all of them. Why do I think there are is a similarity between those guys and The Black Star Riders also a litle of the the Clash not to say the POGES is at the attitude of the lead singers and their excellent writing and storytelling and great playing. I play to take 6 months off my works so I can go a see this band every night they play on their next tour
