How do we know Lord Donator really is Tom? Let's look at the facts: earlier in the weekend, Lord Donator himself wrote out the sign you see at the bottom-middle of the screen at 13:33, spelling it as "Donator". However, Tom spelled his name as "Dona'tor" on Twitter. You'd think someone with an alias would be able to spell said alias's name correctly. We also know that Sith can use a Force power called "Qâzoi Kyantuska", which is used to control others' minds. Judging by Lord Donator's actions with the lamp, he more likely would be a Sith than a Jedi. Therefore, it is not out of the realm of possibility that the real Lord Donator temporarily took over Tom's mind and had Tom act in his place in order to hide his true identity. Inb4 I get accused of being Lord Donator *XD*
@SamTheMarioMan6 жыл бұрын
@@SuperGoker64 In that case, Lord Dona'tor's true identity... is YOU!!! *dramatically points to NintendoCapriSun* And I have evidence too! Lord Dona'tor's appearance at 8:47: Tim was staring forward the whole time. Was he concentrating on the game, or was he concentrating his mind on Tom?? Lord Dona'tor's appearance at 11:04: Tim wasn't on the screen at all, making it easy for him to control Tom's mind without being spotted! Lord Dona'tor's final appearance, at 14:52: Tim didn't say a word, and he didn't show any signs of surprise when Dona'tor's identity was revealed... because he already knew it was poor Tom under there!!

I really don't know why people were so obsessed over a freaking lamp. Now that I'm watching The Runaway Guys Colosseum on their channel, every time I hear the lamp mentioned, I roll my eyes and shake my head. I know they were just trying to be funny but I didn't chuckle one bit about the lamp. I didn't and don't find it funny at all. I just think it's annoying. What's next? A chair? An iPad? A small piece of the floor? And watch; this comment is probably going to be seen on their TV Tropes saying, "One fan in particular was really annoyed by this and posted a comment describing his Angrish and Annoyance.".

Kennedy Kjosness I get that, but treating a LAMP like God? I understand that people are like that, but I have legitimate sense and reason.
@SteelerMan56 жыл бұрын
Because it was one big joke. It started out as a small joke and they simply ran with it. That lamp alone probably earned them just under 10k by itself so it all worked out in the end. TRG's goal of that weekend was to earn money for charity and considering how much the fans went nuts over the lamp, of course the group was gonna roll with it. The most important things were that they collected a ton of charity money and had fun doing it. Edit: If they do this next year, I hope they do, if there is a new "lamp" I will be fine with it. There were some parts of the Colosseum that I wasn't a fan of (mainly the music part but that's just me) but as long as it helped in their goal, I am fine with it.
@sonicparks49786 жыл бұрын
SteelerMan5 I know. I don't have anything against them earning more money. But that doesn't mean I don't get annoyed when people start treating an electric lighting device like a god. It's a LAMP. What exactly did it do to be treated that way? As far as I know, that was its first ever appearance, so this is the only time it has ever appeared. It was just sitting there in the corner and then people just started randomly obsessing over it. I know that this got them a little more money for Direct Relief and that they were doing it for a good cause. But it just annoys me.
@PyraXadon6 жыл бұрын
Part of me also wants to mention that it's also kind of a Stephenplays meme. During Stephen's Sims letsplay, the characters worshipping a lamp became a recurring joke, so it's very possible that the very start of that came from someone from his audience. Honestly, it's one of those things that's not worth thinking too hard about. The sheer ridiculousness of the situation makes it funny to begin with, and if that's not your cup of tea, that's on you. But I, like many people did enjoy the recurring jokes, and that's just something that twitch chat and the internet does. Is it stupid? Yes. Is it nonsensical? Yes. Is it still fun regardless? Absolutely.
