I used to think the rebel v4 foam was really responsive but after experiencing the bounce and energy return of the evo SL, my rebel v4 feels dead! Rebel is still a great shoe but the evo SL is in another league

I use both of these as daily trainers. The rebel is fine - i much prefer it to heavier max stack shoes - but i love the evo sl and find it great at all paces from easy runs up to tempo and faster intervals. One of my all time favourites!

I’ve personally never used the V4 for more than an easy / recovery shoe, as I prefer low stack options over the overbuilt max cushion shoes. The SL feels okay at slow paces but it really comes to life at tempo and threshold.

Just traded my Speed 4 for the Evo SL and not regretting it, maybe not better at all out speed but a much better all rounder without doubt!

Rebel v4 was super disappointing! Loved both V2 and V3. Waiting to take the Evo SL outside. Promising after two treadmill sessions👍

Considering Evo SL. Only concern is comments that it is a little unstable. Is that the case for mid foot/forefoot runners?

I rolled my ankle in it on a slippy surface! Banging shoe though so I’ll be back in it when I’m running again!

Tom, did you go to TTS with the Boston 12 or did you also size up in that one? Knowing this would help with the Evo SL sizing for me. Seems only Nick did reviews for that one.

Tempted by the Evo SL. Rebel V's1,2&3 pretty much perfect shoes for me. Multiple pairs and thousands of km's. But REBEL V4 is really quite bad for me. What the heck did they do to it? Bulky feeling, too much material in the upper and getting Achilles blisters no matter how thick the socks I wear.

The evo sl idk about those the design sick asf but man i went out for a run and when i turned a corner a mf corner i almost fell the soles to mf thin if it was a bit thicker it be a way better show

the Rebel 4 is amazing for me with slightly wider toe box, no pronation. adidas shoes give me posterior tibial tendinitis because of the medial cutouts causing excessive pronation, which most adidas fans fail to mention.

Huh... sounds like the Adizero Evo SL is the perfect Rebel V3 replacement. Will most likely have to update my Triumph 20 / Rebel V3 combo this summer. So far, Ride 18 / Evo SL seems like the way to go.

I'm confused where to run the SL in the rotation. Is it for easy days or for workouts. It can't be both in my world. Adidas also have the Adios 9. Now that's a shoe for workouts! Nobody is confused for the Adios. So perhaps Adios for workouts and SL for easy days?

Returned my Evo SL, the toebox is very weird, a reinforced toe strip makes uncomfortable.
