Yes, they're miming. It's a morning UK programme. It's not unusual. It's usually the request of the programme to ask the singer not to sing live, because it's an unnecessary hassle in a small studio. Yes, Frankie trips. Do we need this to be commented on time and time again? Gets boring!!!

I did kids TV as a producer for 5 years- mainly its because the technical issue in having five live mics and making sure the sound levels are all correct- impossible to set up in a live show.
