india has huge variety of food. in every 50 km food changes. whenever you visit a restaurant you can ask for special Thali of that state you are in. in thali you will get most popular food items of that state. a thali can be both veg and non veg type you have to mention which one you want. this is how you can taste more food item at once . most flavourful food are in Kerala known for its beefs and fishes for veg Chennai is the place Hyderabad has the best non-veg items Kolkata is the sweet hub of India for delicious snacks it is Gujarat Mumbai is the street food capital of India please visit North East India for best pork for Delhi Belly the city with the similar name is the place.

I think it's kerala sadya. Usually it's eaten with rice, not malabar Parrotta. Malabar parotta with diff veg non gravies. 2. Pav bread is Indian Goan Cuisine, Iranian breads are diff. Iran restaurants here serve fusion of Indian and Iranian cuisine. That sandwich u ate is Bombay sandwich. Try sev Puri, bhel Puri, aloo vadi. puran poli (sweet) etc these are also Mumbai Maharastra cuisine. Always say medium, in Bombay street food so that they add less spicy chutney and more sweet chutney to balance the heat.

Even for us North Indians it's difficult to eat that kind of food with our hands. I mean we do eat rotis with our hands but rice with some kind of curry naah we do need spoon. But South Indians are pro in this.

I mean i never saw a person eating burger using forks and knives or hotdog, pizza etc. The second reason u gave is correct I don't like to make my hands messy. Also,i have seen many south Indians licking their whole hand while eating. That's something i couldn't do while eating and also the people around me wouldn't like to see. And i wanna give u the same advice u gave to me. Don't speak for all the North Indians. Like i have seen many South Indians say that North Indians don't remove their shoes before entering their house. But that's not at all true for every North Indian states. Yes i have seen this in states like Haryana and Punjab but in many other places we do remove shoes before entering our house or we have separate slippers to wear exclusively inside of our houses.
