I can only say that those that are not Patreon are missing out on an amazing match. I loved all the exhibition matches but this one is the best ever. Those 5 competitors *REALLY* brought it. When Mark asked which movie might trip people up I was like "Thor the Dark World." Zipper knows his MCU. I have a very hard time remembering that movie, and I think there might be an MIB flash in the film.

Well i just finished binging all 22 films and still got knocked out multiple times in this match, but heres how i did Round 1: 5 (lost the challenge by saying Thomas..) Round 2: As Gerber: 4 As Mike: 2 As Jay: 4 As Smets: 2 As Cushing: 5 Round 3: As Rachel: 0 As Mike: 0 As Smets: 7 As Jay: 2 As Gerber: 2 With best of each round: 17 Total: 33 -- The match itself was everything i could've hoped for, incredible performances from everyone, especially gerber. I wish more than anything that this could be made into a fully fledged division, it's got many more films than Star Wars and the box office shows there are a lootttt of fans who could get into an MCU division!

I think Sean and Sabina (Superhero News) amicably splitting was a blessing in disguise. Not that I didn't like them as a team, but the Team's division is so stacked right now, it's tough to compete with the big dogs. I think this match shows us what Gerber should really focus in on though, and that's IG. I think he could do really well, if he studies the other categories the way he clearly prepped for this match.

The thing is Gerber really is only excellent at MCU specifically (I've seen him missing some DC, DCEU and Marvel questions) IMHO he doesn't have much to offer general movie-wise. And even if you put him only into Innergeekdom he will get rolled over by other top competitors. He still needs to put tons of work if he wants to make a real breakthrough and become more versatile.

Yeah honestly where I live people call him Thomas the train or even just Thomas the tank. Thomas the tank engine is the name of the show not the name of the character. Jay kind of came off as an asshole to me for the whole match though so at least the challenge was in character for him.
