I always liked Lennox Lewis. He was a great fighter and I also think that he is intelligent, a gentleman and has class. I also notice that his speech is still clear. As I am sure that many people notice, a lot of retired fighters, even very good ones and great ones, unfortunately have slurred speech although the press often does not comment on it until it becomes very advanced. It can sometimes only become serious many years after a fighter has retired. I have read that Lewis often plays chess, hoping that by keeping his mind very active, he might be able to avoid the symptoms of obvious brain damage. George Foreman, although in his seventies also still sounds good. He also tries to exercise his brain to avoid slurred speech. I have read that he would do things such as spelling words backwards in hopes that it would help keep his mind and speech in good shape.

At the time I was happy that Lennox gave Mike another chance and what a bad mood there was before the fight, Mike was really something to be feared. But now I'm being offered something that other boxers wouldn't do or Holyfield simply can't do it anymore. What I find really amazing about Lennox is what good shape he is in. @joshuarowell7732 Lennox came back and dominated the 2 who won by technical knockout. He's only been on the canvas twice. That is less than any HW in history. Included George Forman. He's virtually undefeated. Don't forget that George Foreman got dominated by Jimmy Young. A guy half his size.
@nbagoats4819

@joshuarowell7732 I can tell now you don't know boxing. Jimmy Young beat Foreman 115-110. Does that sound like he barely won to you? Oliver McCall has a better record than Jimmy Young who is much smaller and lesser of a knockout puncher. Oliver has 38 KOs to Jimmy Young's 11 KOs. LOL Oliver cried cause he was so afraid of Lewis. Rahman ran from a rematch and had to get sued before he got back in the ring with Lewis. Riddick Bowe threw his belt in the trash to avoid facing Lewis. Does that sound like a weak chin to you? Ask Tua how good his chin is. Foreman got dominated by Shannon Briggs whom Lewis destroyed, and Foreman was getting obliterated by Michael Moore before his lucky shot. Not only that, Holyfield dominated Foreman and then lost to Lewis. Lewis has a better resume than George Foreman.

I think Lennox has resentment for Mike. Tyson was on cocaine when he fought Lennox which is why Tyson had bitten Lennox's leg. Lennox never gets proper credit for beating Tyson cause of how Tyson was doing drugs and not training much for that fight or any other fight after the Spinks fight in mid 1988. Hell Tyson was loaded on Cocaine in his 1989 fight against Bruno where he barely even threw body shots...waste of so much potential.

@@djo-dji6018 One of the longest title defense runs, multi title champion, then did it again when he got back from prison. Even Foreman in an interview puts Tyson as the 2nd greatest heavyweight of all time. Tyson greatest weakness was himself. After the mid 1988 fight against Spinks he started doing cocaine and drinking a lot. His next fight against Bruno he was actually high on cocaine in the ring against him, and should have lost but still managed to beat him. He was a druggy the rest of his career.

Lennox Lewis was a great fighter, its unbelievable what he achieved. I hope in the coming years he gets more recognition. Mike has always had that iconic status, and for good reason, but it can put other great fighters of the past in the shade a bit. I'd like to see a biopic about Lennox. He must have been the most avoided heavyweight of all time?

@xsunflxwerlol941 Holyfield and Tyson were old, but Evander still had a bit left. Tyson was done, pointless fight so agree there. Lewis fought young guys in their prime, Tua, Shannon Briggs and most notable vitali klitschko, all dangerous. Even Golota was coming of those Bowe ass kicking's. Ruddock as well, coming off those decent Tyson fights.

@xsunflxwerlol941 There is nothing to turn around mate, Lewis chased Bowe who threw the WBC title in a bin to avoid facing him, he chased Holyfield until 1999 when finally he got him in the ring, he chased Tyson in 96 who paid Lewis millions to step aside. go look it up mate, I'm trying to help your boxing education as you don't want to be looking like a fool now do you. regards.
