i feel like this song and video expressed anxiety and depression perfectly. the first part, with all the white lines shows the anxiety part, where you feel stressed and worried about literally everything and sometimes you even feel like you're going insane because it's all just too much to handle. and then when the colored drawings come out, that symbolizes depression, and the part in the middle is depression and anxiety mixed, which is literally the worst feeling ever, and then towards the end, when they go into a door which is basically like the door of "suicidal thoughts" meaning they've completely given up. Then it all turns into these blurred, colored drawings, which is like when you're still living but you're so far gone and lost in your pit of depression that everything slowly fades into nothing, and the occasional stutters still is hints of anxiety. Sometimes reality breaks through, but not very often anymore. Then the finale comes with feelings of anxiety and insanity, but mostly depression, and finally everything fades away...into the door. Pretty sure you can figure out what would happen then. And yeah I speak from experience.

Man, This hits hard for someone who has Autism, ADHD and Anxiety and has been bullied in elementary school for 7-10 years... I can say for those who feel this way, keep fighting and trust your gut. I have been on the brink of The Door for a year and I was starting to consider giving in (But at the time I thought I was far from the Door), until I found out about this band in 2022... but my gut told me this wasn't enough, but the band has given me so much strength to keep fighting, so I kept fighting although I didn't value any time in the moment. Eventually, things started to look up for me, I met someone who I will codename as Ford in grade 10 (I'm in grade 12 rn) at first I didn't really think anything of Her until I found myself on the Edge Of The Door again but it was the summer break (In Canada), so I had no other choice except to keep fighting until the start of grade 11 for me... Well it just so happen that we were in the same morning class (Cooking/Baking/Culinary Arts) and I felt like Fate was giving me a sign to see If we could be friends.. At first didn't look promising but I kept fighting just to find out that Ford has friends who are friends with one of my friends, friend... It was at that moment that we started to work together... and things didn't change for me as much as I was hoping... But I knew I needed to keep fighting for a little longer... Then it happed... A massive breakthrough that made me realize that I was on the edge... It was very simple but very effective... And I knew I couldn't let it slip... One thing I didn't mention at this point is that I was (And am still) on brain vitamin pills {BVP for short} (But not as power full now) that really lowered my energy and didn't make me feel like... Me... So I decided to stop taking the BVP for a little to start the recovery process... Later on when I next visited the Doctors office I brought that up and I just didn't know how to describe it... So they lowered the dosage and I took them every other day, And thing really went uphill from there... Until the end of the year where Ford decided to want to stop talking to me... Took most of the summer break to recover from that... But it actually helped me ever more after I recovered, It helped me to find Inner Peace with my Demons.

I was born in the 70's. Undiagnosed on most if not all the same issues. It gets easier. But you have to make sure you keep growing, learning how to control yourself and function in society. If you're diligent life can definitely turn for the better. Find your spiritualality, but taking care of your body is just as important. Forgiveness of others and yourself. We were born differently for a reason!

This song is amazing much like you guys. This song really captures my life. Depression keeps all these voices in my head. Constantly swerling and saying different things. You never know what's right and wrong sometimes. Anxiety is just awful. I cant talk to people. I have trouble meeting people. It always leads to me breaking down. I bottle and bottle and cant talk to anyone. The door in the song represents that one place. A place no one wants to be. I've been there. It hurts. It breaks me. And even if you make it out you are always finding your way back there. I cant make friends. I cant get a girlfriend. It hurts. To anyone who understands me here.
