Tried to break love to a science In an act of pure defiance I broke her heart. As i pulled apart her theories As i watched her growing weary I pulled her apart Having heavy conversations About the furthest constellations of our souls. oh We're just trying to find some meaning In the things that we believe in But we got some ways to go. Of all of the things that she's ever said She goes and says something that just knocks me dead. You won't find faith or hope down a telescope You won't find heart and soul in the stars You can break everything down to chemicals But you can't explain a love like ours. Ooohhhh It's the way we feel, yeah this is real Ooohhhh It's the way we feel, yeah this is real I tried pushing evolution As the obvious conclusion of the start. But it was for my own amusement Saying love was an illusion of a hopeless heart. Of all of the things that she's ever said She goes and says something that knocks me dead. You won't find faith or hope down a telescope You won't find heart and soul in the stars You can break everything down to chemicals But you can't explain a love like ours. Ooohhhh It's the way we feel, yeah this is real. Ooohhhh It's the way we feel, yeah this is real. Of all of the things that she's ever said She goes and says something that just knocks me dead You won't find faith or hope down a telescope You won't find heart and soul in the stars You can break everything down to chemicals But you can't explain a love like ours. The philosophical science nerd in me is absolutely thriving! This blend of music, science, and the search for meaning hits on so many levels as science major and enthusiast! AHHHH I'm living for the vast array of science concepts woven throughout the visuals here in this MV huhuhu. Basic reactions like combustion in a firewood flame, the biology on scenes depicting metamorphosis with a caterpillar, the geology of pristine terrains, the cityscape in the advent of technology and architecture in modern civilization and engineering, the movement of electrons in lightning strikes, the a shift to grander themes-the skies, rainfallm the solar sytem and our sun, the constellations and galaxies swirling in space and complex physics, vectors, mathematical equations.. all while nodding to the philosophy of our existence and what we live for... I can't i just cant get enough of the lyricism and visuals uhuhuhsl;dasbdkljasbkljasbfjkasdfbsakdjvbsiaofgisdgvduiwgvwiugvufgvuifgvifgvfdjvdfjvbdkfjvbweuhwueirhuerguiewvbibvdfvkn

I'm a huge U2 fan and The Script just proves to me that Ireland can give me the music I just adore. U2's "Kite" is the song from them to me and for my father who I lost in January, and The Script's "For the first time" really sent waves to my heart when I was made redundant last year with my house, kids and marriage at stake under a tory government. I got 11 years redundancy, 11 weeks pay in lieu and left that job to start a new and better career the next day, so hey Cameron, you can't keep this Jock down. Smug prick!
