Its my personal theory that the reason Goatgamaru has such a low bid is because most clubs care about people who can consistently draw in money, sure he has had some of the best, creative, and clutch saves that we as the readers will always love to see but when you think of the players as entertainment stocks, Id also put my money into someone like Bachira who we can entertain more consistently throughout the entire match

I always see people say the NEL’s bidding system is broken, but I don’t think they realize how bidding systems work. They’ll see Isagi’s bid go up a lot and then see Barou’s go up a little and immediately complain. In reality there’s plenty of other reasons. 1. Value a bar that only goes up when surpassed: If a player scores 2 goals every game they’ll increase a lot in the beginning but less as time goes on. That’s because this level is now expected for this bid 2. Not all goals are equal: easy goals or goals that are shot with the same formula won’t be as valuable as goals that showcase something new. An example would be a new weapon like Isagis showcase of his lefty shot or Kaiser’s magnus. 3. Value can also be rewarded for consistency: When you see players like Barou’s bid increases, it most likely has something to do with his consistency and less with the goal itself. A player that can consistently play at a level will be rewarded. Back to the player that scores two goals every game, initially his bid is from his display of skills, but later his bid still increases because coaches value consistency in a player. There’s definitely a whole plethora of things that affects bids. But people gotta understand bids don’t increase just for goals but instead skills, talent, potential, consistency, etc.

Shidou is a guy thats simply easy to build around. He is a bit dependent on having a partner thats good but his skills in front of Goal is just elite If Shidou was in Barou's position he would be able to do what Barou did, Barou would not be able to do what Shidou did if the positions changed. 1 on 1 Barou is better but Shidou is just easier to build around and to get value from

Not really... 1. Shidou is a spontaneous player who merely acts on impulse and instinct. Compared to Barou who is more grounded. This infact makes it harder as you need a competent midfielder who is not only good at giving him the needed passes but also someone crazy enough to share his vision. 2. Their weapons. Shidou excels in the penalty box whereas Barou is a midrange power kicks. It has been confirmed that Shidou's instincts are what makes him excel at fining the goal in the penalty box but his general accuracy is poor. Which means both require very different systems to allow them to thrive 3. The system. Ubers excel in tight defense and lightning fast counter attacks. While PXG with their Imp allows Rin and Shidou to show their creativity is creating goals unique to them. Shidou excels in PXG as it matches his creative tendencies and does not constrict him in gameplans. And PXG benefits from Shidou as it makes their offense unpredictable and powerful. Barou excels in Ubers as the structure is built around him makes him confident to pull certain plays as he has pawns around him to use. Ubers benefit from Barou as his weapon allows them to not overcommit to the offense if Barou's shot is blocked. They can swiftly run up let Barou find his ideal spot to score and then run back for defense just as fast. If Barou was in PXG he would not do great as his grounded nature will make the passes more limiting to Charle's creativity. (Why do you think the Imp loves to pass to Shidou compared to Rin) If Shidou was in Ubers, they would not have the option of letting Shidou run to defense as it will slow down the offense and vice versa. As it forces the team to get into the penalty box to allow Shidou to score

There plot armor for isagi, but I think the story line is supposed to have rin get his get back this chapter of the story. It’ll add on to isagi taking another step in the World Cup match. We don’t need another barou, as rin is trying devour isagi during a cup match. It makes more sense for isagi to chase n devour rin. Add on that each timeline it’s rin wins then isagi, rin and then isagi. Another way this can go is Kaiser or someone else other than isagi, rin, and shidou, gets the last goal, this will keep the tier similar to the top strikers for team japan. You only want to have singular striker in the highest tier during and after worlds than before. Also isagi, only is the mc when there’s an another mc rivalry on his team. If he was the star he is, we put him in a team with no ones and he’s the lone star. He’d actually be trash. His true talent only shows when another talent is opening paths for him. That’s his major flaw.

I actually think Nishioka will come from behind to steal 23rd and send both Zantetsu and Nanase out of the top 23. My reasoning is considering the development needed and the character skills we need. Also his continuous mentioning in the series despite him not participating in anything. So I think he'll become a triple threat with Reo and Nagi to surpass Bachira. Giving a new dribble style. Where Yukimiya is more physical, Bachira is more creative, Nishioka could be more calculated. Giving all three different compatibilities with strikers. Where Bachira works well with Reactive Shidou, Yukimiya works well with Disciplined Rin, and Nishoka works well with Calculating Isagi. Giving us new combinations for them to work with. This is more copium than not but I think that Chiguri will be injured and Yukimiya needs a replacement when his vision starts pushing him too far. Bluelock needs to play around injuries and Ego knows that Chiguri and Yukimiya are ticking time bombs. But Zantetsu CANT replace Chiguri, but Nishioka might be able to sub Yukimiya.

Reo can’t copy the Kaiser impact, maybe slightly, but Reo’s chameleon copies techniques, not bodies, Reo is training a body to use Rin and Sae’s techniques, not Kaiser’s, Kaiser impact is the kick speed Kaiser developed this by shooting over and over at the balls center training his muscles to be able to do it fast, Reo can copy the technique, and increase his kick speed, but nowhere near the level of Kaiser impact, simply how Reo’s ability works is seeing an ability be used and copying the technique, copying a regular shooting technique doesn’t increase your shot speed
