My answer use to be “ancient 👽 “ now its “poly mailers”. Thanks for the laugh! Happy shipping!

I also do the 15% rule of thumb. It also helps take into account box cost and other materials. Plus, it's easier to calculate mentally! Just move the decimal to find 10%, and add half of that amount again. Same way I used to calculate tips at restaurants (though these days, 20% is more standard for that, I guess).

Oh man, I aspire to do this! I am notorious for over packaging everything because I’m so terrified something will get damaged. I had slight anxiety just watching you pack some of this stuff in poly mailers even though I know you’re right and they will be fine! This is my own issue I have to work through lol!

Had an idea before for a specific type of item shipped but I’m posting a wider variety of things now so I figured I better have an accurate idea to not get gouged later. I've done both free and Calc shipping and have seen NO difference on sales. I also sell mostly collectables and those buyers expect to pay shipping. Free shipping can also come back to bite you on returns and extra fees on promoted sales.

I just use flat shipping fee for everything I’ve tried free shipping but I also allow offers so free shipping is a no go but with flat shipping most of the time I make money on shipping but on a rare occasion I lose on shipping but it evens out and the money I make on shipping helps with buying packing materials and boxes. Great video very helpful learning other people’s tips and tricks.

Either way you do it you should view it as a total price. There’s trending prices on eBay so if an item is trending at $40 free shipping, why would anyone buy yours at $40 plus shipping so you’d want to list at $40 free ship or like $32 plus $8 shipping. I find it easier to just do free shipping. Just make sure you know what things will cost to ship so you don’t get burned on your projections if you do this. The eBay shipping calculator is a great way to learn these rates. Thanks for watching

How to ship Hot Wheels. I bought 12 cars at 50 cents each. I just don't know what to charge to make a profit with shipping included. I know about the treasure hunt and super treasure hunt cars . My question is do I add the shipping into the price and offer free shipping. Ebay rips you with 13.25% plus .30 each sale. I started to bundle some of the sets or lots to avoid shipping cost for each. Any suggestions?
