I have 2 of their pallets (nude and pink toned) from years ago, and the quality is decent. Just pulled them out the other day. The packaging is more attractive than some that followed.

Their singles in The Velvets formula are the best drugstore price single pan eyeshadows I've used and they discontinued it. I've avoided their eyeshadow palettes for a long time because the shadows in those barely cling to my eyelids and the fallout is nasty. I'm wondering at that time if the singles and the palettes are made by the same brand at all.😅

I always have to kinda giggle when you say you're into cool tones now because I remember for a long time you were like eww I hate cool tones. Lol 😉 really is crazy how much our makeup tastes can change over the years. These look amazing and I loved every one of them on you! Love how they along with companies like elf and wet n wild are showing that amazing quality can be achieved at a very affordable price and you don't need to spend $50 on eyeshadow!

When I use shadows that have fallout, I first wet my brush. This prevents the fallout and also makes the colors pop.

Since Zabrena has cool undertones, I can see why she has moved away from peachy pinks. I have warm undertones tho and grabbed the Coral Me Maybe last week and it is awesome for the price, compactness, and well thought out color story and depth range. This is coming from someone who has Colourpop's Coast to Coral, Sigma's Cor de Rosa, and other coral-peachy singles.

The green and the Taupe so beautiful!! I love how you don’t stick to one typical type of application. I noticed with the green you placed the shimmer first. And it still looked amazing!! I'm so glad you tried all of the colors. I saw them come in one by one at Meijer and purchased mauve, but the other colors are so pretty. Gray palettes are not the norm. The bronze one on you made me think of Old Hollywood siren. Green eye shadows are my favorite, too. I can't wait to try others from Essence. They have bigger palettes now that are new.

My favorite on you is the Ice Ice Baby, Blue. Simply stunning! The cool purple one looks sort of gray and silver with purple in it but that could be my eyes. Oh my goodness Zabrena...you will always be my hero. I think you were the first makeup tutorial I watched and I've been hooked ever since. I'm so happy to see this video. I just got the taupe palette yesterday and used it today. I had read some really poor reviews about the shadows not being pigmented and being a lot of fall out. I had the opposite experience. I actually used way too much in my crease and had to blend it out. There was little to no fall out.

As a Scandinavian extremely cool undertoned I'm literally running to the store. My current favorite is a Kiko white, silver to black palette but it is extreme for everyday. EVERYTHING is warm currently and I look hideous in them. If you have actually cool toned blush tips, can't wait to hear.
