1. Who’s Who, did feel a little shoehorned 2. Nika, since the time skip there had been a few mentions of people saying Luffys fruit didn’t make sense.(as for the world Gov not attacking him, why would they? Multiple people had the fruit over the last 800 years but didn’t awaken it) 3. Oden, not a plot hole, we just found out that Odens family made the poneglyphs.(So he can read and write in the language.) 4. Kaido, not a plot hole, he could have just been written better. 5. Jimbe, not a plot hole, they partied for days, not just that one night. (TBH had a better argument for a Sanji plot hole than a Jimbe)

1. Who’s Who was a little shoehorned 2. I mean we don’t really understand the perspective of the Gorosei and also before Wano there hadn’t been a single time in the last 800 years where the Nika fruit fully awakened so they probably didn’t see Luffy as a threat 3. We learned that Odens family created the poneglyphs and wrote them so why wouldn’t he be able to read and write in the language 4. The Kaido plot hole could be true, but you can also make an argument for it just being his writing. I like to imagine that Kaido is having conflicting thoughts in his head of what he wants and what he doesn’t want. If he wants to kill himself or not, because sometimes that’s how people just are and they have conflicting wars in their brains telling them whether to do something or not 5. They partied for days so I’m gonna assume that Jinbei wasn’t left out in any of the several parties the Strawhats had. I’m a OnePiece fan, but I can still take criticism of the series even though I personally like it so much. Some of the points you made were actually pretty solid, but for a lot of them you just had missing information. There were also a couple plot holes you mentioned that could also be covered by it just being character writing and if you personally don’t like how they’re written then it’s perfectly fine. All I wanted to do was just add my thoughts. Good vid though 👍

2. The nika fruit was described as “out of the world government’s reach for 800 years.” Yet the son of dragon who liberates nations with a gum gum body raids government facilities time and time again. Oda gave conflicting information with the whole “the gum gum fruit is always on the run” when it was so insanly easy for the gorosei to take it from luffy when he is present in government territory. And luffy not being a threat shouldn’t be an issue because the fruit itself is the issue. The fact that luffy has the fruit that can single handed destroy the government automatically makes him a threat. The gorosei have no excuses for letting him run loose all those years and its stinky writing because the gorosei are so blatantly stupid. This is ofc only stinky because oda didnt write the series with the nika fruit in mind, its only a problem writing wise because it was plopped in so late in the story. And its SOO interesting how the gorosei are now trying to track down and kill luffy once the concept of nika was introduced. The gorosei’s unnatural incompetence is a plot hole only possible because oda didnt pre plan nika. 3. Its conflicting information that makes rayleigh look like a liar. The pannel show rayleigh saying no pirate ever is able to read these blocks except for the people of ohara. This scene was said by ray to show how important robin is as the soul survivor. But there is literally a pirate on rayleigh’s same crew that isnt from ohara that can read the ancient block things. Thats why its a plot hole. Not that oden cant read them, its just rayleigh said no pirate can read those when a very important pirate literally took rayleigh to the one piece. 4. Kaido isnt a plot hole just terribly written imo. His character is conflicting and oda tries to make him righteous even though he isnt. Feels forced imo. 5. This also isnt a plot hole its just oda being silly in wano. He purposefully off-screened all of jimbeis interactions with the crew even though he promised it would happen. And it felt like he did it purposefully lol like he purposely showed jimbei alone while everyone else was partying

Yea I mean I guess him just having the fruit could be a problem, but I still think the Gorosei just didn’t care about the Nika fruit until it fully awakened and didn’t expect for Luffy to draws his powers. It’s probably just me coping though lol. Also important to note that Oda has given several foreshadowings in the past that Luffy had the Nika fruit. Such as his sun shirt in his flashback or his sun dance in Skypeia with the wolves. 3. I mean I guess that’d makes sense, but I don’t think that really drags down the plot in a big bad way, and maybe Rayleigh lied about it for a reason idk. 4. I think a lot of character writing is subjective so I just find it interesting that Kaido has conflicting ideas and morals kind of like a war in his head. I could understand how some people might not like it though. 5. Yea it is kind of silly ig that he just left Jinbei alone lol. I think at that point Oda just wanted to be done with Wano at that point. Honestly though I’d dint even remember that until you mentioned it in this video. I think in general while some of these might be plot holes, I don’t necessarily think they drag OnePiece down that much at least for me.

1. Who's Who isnt really that big of a plot hole, just something that could have been done better 2. Why would they kill Luffy and risk the fruit being reincarnated again which would just make it harder to get and imprisoning him would run the risk of shanks going after them 3. How is it an asspull when luffy has has zoan elements in his fruit since gear 4 and when nika was foreshadowed in Skypiea 4. Oden being able to read poneglyphs is not a plothole, mainly because he didn't even come close to saying that the people of Ohara are the only ones who could read the poneglyphs and Oden was barely a pirate 5. Akainu, in my opinion, would not beat kaido based on what we have been shown an, in my opinion, Kaido only wanted to die when he didn't realize what that meant (ik thats a bit headcanon but so was most of the Oden "plothole") and you said it yourself, not a plothole 6. They did party, he didn't just sit there for nights 7. This is either some pretty convincing ragebait or some crazy reasoning 8. Walter Jr.

Another plot hole is that every zoan has a base, hybrid and full form (even the special types). Luffy on the other hand is permanently rubber. When Momonosuke freaked out after turning into a dragon, he asked luffy for advice on turning back. He replied that he doesnt know since he isnt a zoan.

This is a minor plot hole, but as the crew were leaving Water 7, Chopper could smell Usopp approaching from afar, but he never noticed this while Usopp was disguised as Sniper King (Sogeking).

Also even though Kaido has the fish fish fruit he should be able to still drown since it’s not literally a fish that he turns into and the fact that vander decken is a fishman but can still drown due to his devil fruit just tells me that it don’t matter. Another plot hole is Luffy being immune to lightning. Rubber is only resilient to low voltage electricity, but lightning is insanely high with temperature that exceeds the surface of the sun. I don’t think you can headcanon this as a Nika power because we see Luffy still getting burned and feel pain from normal fire in Amazon Lily.

It should do WAY more damage than shown, as well as be incredibly painful since normal fire is already enough to harm him. That also takes away from how fearsome real lightning is, the story already does that with Enel as a final villain with how he doesn’t kill anyone relevant in that arc when given the chance. His first demonstration of power was killing a random nameless character and the land around him. Enel doesn’t kill anyone little after to live up to that.
