Just want to mention that you changed the top "Merry" to white (7:12), I think it was deliberately yellowish or off-white in the original design because that prints better especially on darker color shirts. I never use complete white, just a slightly darker off-white, that way two layers of ink goes on to the fabric (first white then the off-white), and the darker shirt color doesn't show through. I generally use HEX efece8 (sometimes even darker, I found that its even better for the eye than the whitest white) but anyone can find off-white palettes on the internet...

But I really want this to work so I can add to our family budget while still being hands on with my kids. If you use Kittl, there are color templates that you can use in your designs that are pre loaded with complimentary colors. These are located on the bottom right side of your design dashboard.

Thanks! Yep…I have used those… sometimes tho, even tho the palette has several colors it only uses a couple of them in my design. I’d love to know if there is a way to make it use all (or more) of the colors. They leave my designs almost monochromatic. Which is weird…

I think after watching this and Taylor’s video showing Kittl’s print they could be a back up for out of stock-idk if they are using a POD like Printful bc hers said NC -she did a BC and they had EVERY color too…total $24.99 and print was great. However, if using a big co like Printful they may be out of stock as well. Maybe Drew will let us know if they are using a big company or started their own. Thanks Hannah-you’re the best at showing tutorials which is one hard aspect of new POD and “niche” you always give us multiple ways to allow us to truly think of ideas, niches and then make it happen visually!! Yo, that video was pretty rad! 👍🏼😉 I've been binge-watching POD videos for the past few weeks. As a design and research geek, POD totally caught my eye. I've already done the boring setup stuff, like creating accounts on all the major POD platforms, getting separate bank and PayPal accounts, and even subscribing to a few fancy design tools (kittl included). But I'm still waiting to unleash my first design onto the world. Designing has always been my escape, but diving into the print-on-demand world made me realize that my amateur design doodles just aren't up to scratch. I haven't made anything that I think can stand up to the competition. That's where kittl comes in. Let's hope it'll help to turn my design game into something epic. 😬 Tomorrow I'll use my day off from the 9-to-5 grind to create and launch my first POD listing! Great video, Hannah! Between Printify & Printful, who do you suggest for sourcing apparel?Also which hoodie and sweatshirt model type do you suggest sourcing that customers love per your experience? Also just a request- I would really appreciate if you don't include the Hunting niche examples as Hunting is a brutal activity of killing an innocent animal who has consciousness just like us humans. I hope one day Hunting becomes illegal in U.S.A, it is an activity that corrupts a human's consciousness by the human getting sick pleasure in hunting an innocent animal, that's all there is to it. I am Vegan so any activity that harms an animal like eating animal flesh or harming an innocent animal just breaks my heart.

So glad you're enjoying! I think you can try your hand at many niches, but you also can repeat niches if they are good ones. I don't really have any hard and fast rules for that!

I was wondering this as well. There's so many youtubers saying you either need to pick one niche and niche down or try many different niches and see which one sells the best and expand on that one. Do you suggest if I'm just starting to list many different product types or just a couple different products. Figuring out which niche (or niches) are good is my first goal. I try to get quite a few designs done in under and hour, but it definitely took me much longer when I first got started. The more you list and design, the better and faster you get. I also utilize a lot of templates and tool with things like Kittl. I often reuse descriptions for the same niche, but change it a tiny bit.

Hi Hannah, I just recently found your channel and am really enjoying and learning a lot from your content. I just recently in July started my shop and have great mockups, SEO, sell various POD products. All of my available time is spent on my shop or watching videos such as yours to learn and have purchased a class that I completed and I still don't have one sale. I know this is part of the process but I'm really getting discouraged. I'm trying to just keep my head down and keep listing but been working so hard these last few months starting to get burned out. I have one question about Printify: In store setting, is it necessary to enable Printify Connect feature or not? I want to connect my Etsy store to Printify but I'm not sure to activate this feature is helpful for this reason or not.

I found this from article from Printify. While it is possible to use Printify without connecting a store, you will need to manually submit your customers' orders on the platform. By integrating your store with Printify, however, you can automate the order import and processing, saving you time and helping you scale your business. Hope this helps :)

It definitely gets easier with time, but even if you aren't a natural designer you can still do well. Use templates or just focus on all text designs!
