When I was a university student in America my history professor asked us to choose the person we admire in the world and write his or her story. That was our final exams. I wrote about Nkurumah. This history who was once a professor of African history at the University of Ghana was so mad that he called me to his office and started arguing with me. I told him that he is white and I am black but I saw what Nkurumah did in Ghana and Africa and to me no African can compared himself or herself to him. This man was so mad that he gave me "F", I did not take it lightly so I reported him to the school administration. He nearly lost his job and was forced to change my grade.

I'm saving to go as well. I have met several Africans while living here in the south. They were each from different parts of Africa and shared wonderful stories of their culture. I learned so much from them. The United States has & continues to severely fail us black folk ( Black Americans). I can't wait until its my turn to visit the Motherland! Hopefully we will be in the same tour group! Peace & blessings.

I was waiting for someone to say something. I think one of the reasons white America don't want to pay us reparations is because they think they did us favor.
@jaycameronofficial2 жыл бұрын
Well what you hear is people willing to learn something different. If you really heard what they said outside of these low level, petty assessments was very revelatory and they didn’t go to their graves ignorant of the first hand experience. The beautiful part is that they can still love their culture in the US and embrace their newfound culture in different parts of africa.

@annmhmoore0771 Жыл бұрын
@@Bantuqueen01 We insist you leave. That will be one of the stipulations as well as renounce your citizenship. It will make white people more willing to pay reparations if we can rid of you welfare dependents. Do us all a favor.... Make sure you take all of your brothers and sisters with you.... Don't forget pookie and Ray Ray either... It will be cheaper to pay reparations and your one way ticket back to Africa than to continue financially supporting you people generation after generation and listening to your whining... MLK speech free at last free at last... White people speech will be peace at last peace at last.... We think it's best for everyone that black people leave. Win win for everyone...

Hi Jay, many people don't know that Nkurumah started building atomic bomb factory and lot of other industries. All these projects were abandoned. That is the reason I always say that 1966 coup sent us back 100 years. You can ask Ghanaians who are in the 70s above years of age and they will show you where all the industries are located. Some were sold to the foreigners. All our research and pharmaceutical factories were sold to Abbott Laboratory an American company.
@kwamesolo55242 жыл бұрын
True
@scipioafricanus98412 жыл бұрын
@william hanson Point of correction. Nkrumah never started building an "atomic bomb factory"! He only initiated the construction and acquisition of a small nuclear reactor to be used SOLELY FOR PEACEFUL RESEARCH purposes, especially, application of nuclear sciences to agriculture. The miniature reactor was meant to be delivered and installed by the Soviets in late 1966. But after Nkrumah got deposed, the reactor was never delivered until 1992. In fact, the reactor that was finally acquired was a Chinese version.
@scipioafricanus98412 жыл бұрын
@william hanson Now, you claiming "ALL" our research and pharmaceutical factories were sold Abbott Laboratory, I'm doubtful of such fantastic claims. Are you able to provide any trusted and independent sources from where these claims can verified?

@@scipioafricanus9841 Some of the industries were under GIHOC,Aboso Glass factory,Kwabeyaa Atomic Energy,silos,Akosombo Textile, Wenchi Tomato Factory, Akosombo Car Tire Factory, Bonsall Tyre Factory, Kumasi Shoe Factory, Fibre Product Company, Sugar Factory, Rubber Plantation, Blackstar line Shipping Company, Ghana Airways, Dry Dock, Ghana Nautical College, those days all our planes and ships were man by Ghanaians, State Farms, Food Distribution Company, University of Science and Technology Kumasi, Cape Coast University, Ambassador Hotel,Tema Food Complex, Tema Motorway ,Polytechnic Colleges,Free education from primary school to University, free textbooks, Pilot Training School, etc etc. Please, ask Ghanaians and they will provide you more. Why all this ?? created us all in his own image I read it from the bible, but others think we are not part of the human race, I said this people can go to hell we are what we are proud to be black 🖤
