I also think this is part of why the "friendzone" concept exists. I'm definitely generalizing here, but I feel like a lot of guys aren't open with each other about their problems and how they're feeling. They're not vulnerable with each other, whereas women are. So when women talk to a male friend about their problems, and the guy talks to her about his, he thinks of it as a much more intimate thing than she does, and he feels a connection while she doesn't. She sees it as being a friend, because that's how she is with her friends, but he sees it as being more than friends because he isn't like that with his friends. Again, that was definitely an overheneralization. It isnt like this with every male/female friendship. Not every man is brought up with the "get over it and be a man" kind of thing, but it's common enough that this is an issue.

If I'm understanding this correctly, the guy at 19:39 ended up being 86lbs, which is a healthy weight for a 4'8" woman (based on a chart I read). Also I feel like losing 70lbs+ in 12 months is definitely not healthy.
