Thr entire landscape is out of control. It's not sustainable actually. Casual fans will fall away being unable to find product. I expect it to die down at some point but who knows when that will be. It's sort of a perfect storm where PC started printing less and then the demand suddenly skyrocketed again. Sets should be available more than a few months after release.

Another great snapshot in time, Danny. Thank you for all the hard research and easy to understand graphics. In the USA, historically in March, April, & May we get a bump in sales from adults receiving tax returns. It quiets down in the summer. Then around the gift giving holiday season we get another bump. Then the cycle will repeat. As these cards age, and hype goes down, fan favorites will rise to the top. If you plan your buying in the “off season” there are wonderful deals to be found online and in person.

I remembered when Gengar Vmax was $80 and moonbreon was slightly below $200. Back then Pokemon in general was in a decline and sadly I didn't pick up them up and some other alt art. Now it's too expensive and may never complete my swsh alt art. I'm only missing 8 alt art and it will cost me $2400+ to get all of em. 😅

Galarian slowking is an amazing artwork. Beautiful cardnin person. When I started collecting again I bought a bunch of sleeved chilling reign from pokemon center and didn't realize how lucky I was to pull an alt arts out of such a low number of packs. Chilling reign has the best artworks in SWSH imo

As a parent whos kid’s favorite Pokémon is eevee and that collects Pokémon cards the state of Pokémon cards is disappointing. My local stores are cleaned out of everything except shrouded fable etbs. I use to be able to tell my daughter to get a booster or blister pack of whatever we went to the store but this is ridiculous. We just want to enjoy the hobbie for what it is and maybe pull a cool card.
