I've always interpreted the Dramarama MV this way: -Kihyun and Jooheon were friends ➡️ Jooheon got in a car crash ➡️ Kihyun tries to save him with the help of the watch ➡️ realises the car crash has to happen and ends up sacrificing himself -Wonho is from the future (as seen in the beginning where the time says 2047) ➡️ travels to the past to practice Kendo with Shownu ➡️ is eventually found by the dudes in suits (some sort of secret/government service to stop time travel) ➡️ gets his watch taken away and therefore can't go see Shownu anymore which is why Shownu is left waiting at the end -Minhyuk also travels back in time to see/help(?) Changkyun ➡️ they run away from the dudes in suits ➡️ Minhyuk tries to get them both to another time but they let go of each others hands at the last moment so he ends up by himself -Hyungwon (like you realised) is the "time keeper/original time traveler" and gives out the watches to everyone. In the beginning you can hear a voice say "do not take any watches from CHW" (Chae Hyungwon) because time travel is illegal in this universe. That's the most common interpretation I've seen and the one that makes most sense to me. Hope it helps :)

Honestly as a monbebe that has been a monbebe for a few years now, the storyline is still confusing to me🤣 It starts in 2016-2017 I think then pretty much goes to 2019-2020. It kinda ends with Find you before Wonho left (hints of it in Fantasia and Kiss or Death). Also Dramarama was their first ever music show win so it has a special place in our hearts! Monbebes refer to Beautiful as being the Queen of Monsta x title tracks!👑 It’s their most iconic title track in the sense that it is when they really solidified their sound and defined themselves and the direction of the group. 2016 was a tough year for MX and Mbbs, 2017 was sort of their new beginning and it all started with the release of Beautiful and their first win with dramarama. The song even makes a cameo in MX’s episode of We Bare Bears, which we would all love for you to check it out. 💕

Okay. Dramarama has its start at "Find You" and its a tear jerker. If you wanna get the time lines and stuff, you should definitely watch "Find You" and "Destroyer"( I remember that you heard this piece in MX guide and u loved it, listen it full, u'll fall deep). You also haven't seen the soft side of MX much. So, "Newton" is top-tier in that section. "Shine Forever" also has a story but it doesn't have anything to do with time travel,its a story of its own. You should also consider checking out "Jealousy" and "Beautiful" dance practices cz they are still my top 3 choreos ever from MX. If you think of doing an another MX marathon anytime, Just look into these. BTW, Love ur reactions a lot. I relate to everything u do while reacting to them.

Jealousy was such an interesting title track for them, and The Connect : Dejavu is one of my favourite k-pop albums of all time. I love Jealousy but somehow that song became a ‘least’ favourite on that album simply because the b-sides there were absolute masterpieces. I’ve always believed that dramaramas story was about the concept of the butterfly effect. For every action there is a reaction. If kihyun had saved Jooheon is could have completely changed the trajectory of both their lives as well as those who know them and those who know those who know them and so on and so forth. Essentially you cannot change a fixed point in time, however you can create an exchange of power. It’s like when someone steps on a mine, they can’t just step off or it’ll set off the mine. But they can redistribute the weight with something of equal mass. So someone can take the place or the person on the mine. And that’s what kihyun does with Jooheon. I’m order to save him but not break the fabric of time he switches places with him. So there’s still a negative reaction to the negative action (the accident and people mourning the loss of the one lost in the accident). Anyway I’m rambling and I could be wrong I just love their story lines so much.
