Many Filipinos are hard up. They manage to still express the beauty within through music. It's a positive way to overcome the challenges of daily life, with song, music. Yeah, music is powerful vehicle to transport you. It is a more positive vehicle than drugs and violence. It's like the gypsies with flamenco. Because of discrimination and poverty wherever they went, they had their flamenco to let them express their intense frustrations in life. Because they did not have war-like nature, they channeled negative energy into a positive vehicle. Much like the black slaves in the cotton fields singin'. So you can see even young children in poverty situations in this video channeling their energies and talents to something positive, despite the lack of opportunities. People with tender hearts find a way to survive and thrive in the midst of hardships. Thank you for reacting, appreciating this side of humanity. Your reaction really touched me. ♥️

For us Filipinos singing is just natural to us. Wherever you go in Philippines, markets restaurant, shops there's also karaoke. This baby singing is from the northern part of the Philippines. I can hear the background says, “Han yu pagaw- awiden” which means “do not let him go home.” He is disable ... may he has a blessed life. God bless this baby. Here in Taiwan people can not just get the microphone and sing like that anywhere except to allowed areas like parks ... but around neighborhood is forbidden by the law. Someone could just call police to come over and stop it. So nobody will their video okay outside their house. This kind of acts are just allowed in bars. Filipino here as OFW ... during my first years with my employers they find me always singing while doing my work and taking care of their father (81yrs old). Passed away at age 88. I remember during chines me new year they gather together to sing at the living room and they have to make sure that I have to sing too. They love it.

There are a lot of these recorded unaware from the Philippines. There is one of an older brother who is 10-11 and plays guitar when he sings, and he sounds like an angel who is always having his 5-6 yr. old little brother sing who can't carry a tune if you gave him a bucket. But the older brother encourages him to keep singing. I had 2 sisters a Mom and a Dad and they all encouraged me to "SHUT-UP"!!!! Anyway thanks for the video I'll be back.

Filipinos then were exported as singers. They went to Bangkok, Laos, Iran, Malaysia as a band. I realized then that being a musicians are one of the best talents of Philippines. Being a Musician can elevate Family lives. Ir is because ENGLISH is our second language as introduced by AMERICANS. We learn English from Elementary to University. Its really hardto be a good singer if you vannot speak English.... Thanks for this video I SUBSCRIBE to your channel ...

I'm Filipino and I very well know our culture. Karaoke singing is indeed our people's past time. probably this is the reason why we hardly know "depression." It's not just part of the lives especially among the poor in the provinces. Just give these people a karaoke machine and a microphone, and it's already a "good life." For adult people, after work they just pass by a side a carenderia with a karaoke on the street, buy a bottle of beer and sing. But believe me, sometimes it's annoying because others don't respect the idea that we also need quiet. Many of our neighbors would just sing their hearts out even at the wee hours of the evening. President Duterte even made a law banning the karaoke singing at a certain time in the evening.

Konting pino. Mga kabayan. Kahambugan yun. Let others praise u not your own lips sbi nga. Kuuuu.

There are many filipinos that can sing...and dance too...it comes naturally, maybe because we're raised listening to our parents/grandparents old songs & we picked up the love of music from that. This is also the reason why karaoke is always a part of filipino parties, even here in the US. Thanks for sharing.

I was laughing so hard looking at your reactions to the kids voice and how could they memorize the lyrics cuz it's a long songs. Amazing! Maybe they hear these songs many times so they know which line is high and low notes. They have great voice, and it seems those kids came from different planet or maybe they're not humans. Unbelievable!
