"In my day you had to choose between swords and 'rangs" Comes from the instruction manual of the original Legend Of Zelda 1 (English manual: page 41), which accidentally had a screenshot from a beta version of the game, where instead of the old man at the start of the game ("Its dangerous to go alone, take this") giving you the Wooden Sword, he gave you the choice of either the Wooden Sword or the Wooden Boomerang, and you would presumably find the other in the first dungeon somehow, just like you find the Wooden Boomerang in the release version of the game.

Having everything in a super world wouldn't be nice to the creators because they would have to hand out the levels to someone else and then they wouldn't get likes and follows from the players. Another thing for SMM3: Cooperative super worlds

Your boomerang input probably wasn’t being registered cause you were right in the middle of bouncing, it happened the most when you were rapidly small bouncing. So I assume it’s an animation thing not wanting to be interrupted

7MMC was a year ago? Also, another potential soft lock at around 16:12 if you destroy the last two pink blocks, then quickly turn around to lose the power up, then get the key and enter the warp block, as, in the locked ballon room, a boomerang is needed to progress and there is no way to die. This is a pretty innocuous soft lock, as you probably won’t do it accidentally, but I just wanted to point it out.

Doesn't that cheese require you to complete an entire room, where Panga died many times, in one shot? Technically, yes, it's cheese but you have to be gaming to not key die after the checkpoint and before the boss fight.
