Tord’s list is pretty well prepared for Regidrago. Very teched to win that and stall matchup and sacrifices quite a bit of consistency outside of that. I think some of these techs might live on, but I doubt all in one list like this.

Yeah. My local meta isn’t control heavy, so if I play with Charizard I’d stick to the EUIC list or whatever other builds are made

Great video! I liked how for some decks with pretty different lists you went over more than one and discussed your thoughts on each. Also enjoyed hearing more about your ideas and prep for drago before worlds.

3:14 maybe this player messed up when writing his decklist and staff said he should play another basic fire instead of the neo upper Ace Spec lol

Do you think Sablezard is a good play for Baltimore?
@borodkro3 ай бұрын
If you like it but gets slaughtered by regidrago
@SableZardOP3 ай бұрын
@@borodkro Regidrago is not a great match up but sablezard could beat it pretty consistently with hassel and fezandipiti for iono, and one or even two choice/defiance bands to get through the HP
@SableZardOP3 ай бұрын
Also, Sablezard beats every turbo aggressive deck like miraidon , raging bolt, and roaring moon easily which will be very popular due to how much regidrago there was at worlds. It also takes good matchups into lugia, zard, and stall, making it a decent play as long as you know the deck.

I saw arguments about competitive integrity being the reason why Regi should have been moved forward. BUT do you think that is more important than sportsmanship? Because I think sportsmanship is more important. I love playing pokemon TCG and I used to be only a yugioh player. Yugioh is still more fun to me than pokemon because the complex game mechanics and interactivity but one of the key reasons I love pokemon TCG is the community. Sportsmanship is a cornerstone of community so I think that is more important than competitive integrity. So the conclusion I've drawn is the Regidrago should have been DQ'd because sportsmanship is more important than competitive integrity. I would really love to hear your thoughts on that.

Quad thorns was arguably the strongest deck by conversion rate, right? Regidrago impressed me more because of its popularity rather than its conversion rate.

As a yugioh player it’s weird not seeing the deck pie chart have one image covering the entire thing lol.

Lol yeah Pokémon rarely has that problem. Close to 10 archetypes consistently in the top 32 at major events.

My friend lost to Eddie on the win and in to d2 and said he was playing a neo upper and 3 fire, just for clarification

Very interesting, thanks! Maybe it was a decklist error or website error.
