@@fourmondnoah4013Iberia actually looks about the same as it did in Eu4. However, both Castile and Aragon still get a pretty big nerf due to starting a century prior. North Africa is significantly stronger, and therefore harder to conquer, The Iberian wedding isn’t even a potential to happen until 140s years in and even then odds it doesn’t happen aren’t low because the 2 have different starting dynastys, The Burgundian succession not even being a possibility until like 170 years in (which at that point means it isn’t even a reliable event), and Colonization probably will not be available for a good 150 years longer than it is in Eu4. Overall Spain is likely to drop to middle tier despite basically being the same border wise.

Its interesting that pretty much all of these are very likely to be nerfed in Eu5. Timurids and Ottomans both need to build there empires from their start, with the former not even existing at the start. Also worth noting all the lands near them are the same religion for a while, which was a HUGE benefit in Eu4, if not the biggest reason why both were so strong. Both will probably remain powerful however. I have a feeling the Timurids will be one of the strongest if not the single strongest formable in Eu5, which mirrors both how it was like historically in the 14th century and the Mughals in Eu4. Muscovy starts out way smaller, and as a tributary as the Great Horde. However, they have alot of Farmlands which may become more valuable since food is a resource. Polands still going to be a strong as hell but, they won’t be a superpower yet, as they won’t have easy access to the PLC which is alot of why they are so broken in Eu4. Like Muscovy though, they have a-lot of Farmlands which may be super important. While not loosing any territory, Castile starts in a much worse position timeline wise as pretty much everything that makes them so strong in Eu4 no longer exist in Eu5. They still wont suck but it will be significantly weaker than Eu4 and not a top tier nation anymore. Oirat doesn’t exist at the start and i am 100% confident Yuan is getting an INSANE nerf in Eu5 due to time period. Infact, Mings probably going to get an insane buff as they don’t exist at the start. I would genuinely be surprised if Oirat was still good and if it was,even 75% as good as it is in Eu4. Of the Strong Nations, England and France are likely the only ones who will stay strong, and if theres a black plague event, France is getting nerfed considerably, at least at the start.

Imo Great Britain is the funniest one for playing tall, you can literally make the south african trade node into the taxation point of the world, ive easily achieved to make it stronger than venice and genova combined with very low effort

I denifitly would claim that Austira is the most powerful nation, it has the potential to control in a few years (max. 100) the center of europe with Bohemia, Hungary, Poland (probably with Lithuania) France and with a little bit of luck Burgund and Mailand, in a Personal-Union. Also if Players control some of these Nations. But it is it not for beginners

The main thing I am looking forward with EU5 is that by using pops the F-ING HRE will no longer have a million F-ING men to form unbeatable coaltion armies, no matter how many tags that accursed entity has. I can´t wait to conquer as the Ottobros WITHOUT needing to give a damn about whether by taking some provinces in Northern Italy I now need to prepare for hundreds of thousands of Northen German soldiers invading the balkans for some darned reason (or at least more than once). God I hope they nerf that place into the ground, and make the logistical impossibily of EACH ONE of those tiny states supplying a 10k army on the other side of Hungary a thing at long freaking last...
