There is probably almost no one out there with a modded switch since it's Yamauchi's latest console, maybe homebrewing it once nintendo online servers get shut down then yeah, in that way you won't be able to get your account or switch temporarily / permanently banned. You've also got to consider that patched nintendo switches can't be homebrewed because they'll get bricked if you do so.

@@Michael-vk6py you have zero clue what you’re talking about. Picofly modded switches are being sold cheaper than retail switches . The software being used makes clones so you can’t be banned. You can literally put modded switch into the search bar and see tens of thousands of comments come up.

The problem with the Nintendo switch is that you can either be a free to play and only have 2 good exclusive (tetris 99, and kirby clash) or you can drop 200 dollars to get the actual good games like breath of the wild, mario kart, super smash bros, and splatoon maybe. The cost isn't worth the lack of good exclusives. The only reason to have a switch is for the main high expense games, so don't get one thinking you're gonna be able to get anything new for free. It's sad to see, honestly.
