​@pou-c yes. Fill up a canvas with lots of small characters. Draw on one. Move on until you can't get ahead on the current. Go back and forth. It's fun and puts a lot less pressure on you. Erase with a soft round brush just lighty and paint over it.

It depends - a US customer that need a specific commission done gets a better result buying in one of Asia's cheep Illustration Studios, then commissioning a local supplier doing it with AI, because of the 10x payment difference…

No point in saying this, they will continue to blatantly ignore this fact and keep finding excuses to trash-talk AI, solely because they are afraid, afraid of losing their jobs, afraid of losing their talents, afraid of losing themselfs.. Gen AI already is useless, uses too much electricity, and does more harm than good. OpenAI already takes a ton of loans, and people are losing hype/against it. It won't progress as far as we think it will, I'm confident on that. So, my own consensus is that AI will fall on its' own.

What I’m saying is that even if the problems you are talking about don’t get solved and Ai is no longer popular it would only stay like that for a while until they solve the problem, and currently some of the problems you listed are being solved

@@Noredia_Yuki Energy is still a problem, and just training a model needs 43 megawatts, and there have been articles regarding AI Inbreeding which is still a big risk with actual articles that recognize this risk, AI still gets things wrong, eg the mushroom gathering book, or scientific diagrams, both having incorrect information. It's still unpopular with a lot of people based on surveys and polls and being embedded into literally everything for the sake of being used, and I haven't even touched on Copyright Infringement. The creator of Midjourney literally said it's impossible to ensure all the data they scrape is not copyrighted, making these AI unethical, even "ethical" AI models such as that Adobe one are stealing data on their cloud without asking, it makes the creators of these models liable for copyright infringement. Plus the data scraping is plain annoying. It can cause lag and stress on sites, this has happened! As I said in my original comment I'm certain that AI will never reach our level, and will likely fall into obscurity in the arts. AI physically cannot think, have any intent or style the way humans do, and it will never, ever be able to replicate us. It's just a math formula to make patterns of the general shape of art via noise. We don't work with math formula, and this model obviously doesn't help Gen AI to "breakthrough" and surpass us. It will stagger, if inbreeding doesn't cause it. You assume that AI will be identical if not better than real art because that's how you've always seen their progress, your argument is based on your certainty that they will or MIGHT fix it. AI will inbreed, scrape worse art, and won't and physically can't be better than us if it's trained on OUR data. The music will always be uncanny, lyrics always will be surface level, images will always have artifacts and mistakes, queries are always subject to misinformation. AI can't be perfect or better than us if it's also scraping wrong information and simply TRYING to copy us, but without any thought or fixing. This is ART, a formula can't replicate that.

I think AI could be used to help artists(or people in other fields) produce things faster, and reduce any stress or heavy workloads from their work flow. There just needs to be laws/rules made to restrict the use of others' resources without permission.

'I HATE AI' this term is not that good cause ai is just another tool in the shed. ai is made using the art of made by these amazingly talented people. ai generation is insanely useful to people who are broke , i use ai as reference to learn art. i use it for learning game dev . i use it to make 2d charecters into 3d and people who say ai is gonna take over art, no its not. AI will never even begin to comprehend the complexity of the pieces that legit artists create.
