Sometimes you got to trust yourself, and the thought of me having a bad haircut for picture day forced me to trust myself. And by doing so, i discovered a new skill.

Fortunately for me I became a barber in 2008 and worked in a shop until 2012. Throughout barber school and working in shops we (barbers) would cut each other for free. I also got good at cutting my hair myself. Have dreads now so basically I’m just doing a lineup, temp fade, and beard trim. Haven’t paid a penny for a haircut in 15 yrs. I see how the prices have skyrocketed recently and am so thankful to have went to trade school and learned this skill. Saved me thousands over the years… My cousin pays $50 every cut smh.
