The Spellshop has either a sequel or companion novel coming out this year. Great pick!

Well I've added a few new books to my TBR for this year. Surprisingly I have Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell on my bookshelf already, so that's a good start. I picked it up at a charity shop last year sometime. :) I loved The Spellshop. It's a fun cozy read. Thanks for the recs!

So many of these books are on my TBR for this year as well. Here's hoping we get to them all!

The Spellshop was so fun and cute and yes, there's a sentient plant and he's great. Also, maybe I should reread JSMN while you're reading it for the first time 🤔

The Starling House is one of my priorities for the year. I am hoping to get to it in February. I hope you are able to get to all of these this year.

I loved Where the Dark Stands Still, it’s a Ghibli movie in book form, it is such a good debut and beautiful cover. I think you will love it! 😍 Evelyn Hugo and Sorceress Comes to Call are also great, I recommend them. Though I wouldn’t categorize Sorceress as “Cosy” 😅 it is kind of dark. Blood over bright haven is just chef’s kiss but I already told you in another video. I am excited to know how you like all the others, I didn’t read them and I might if you recommend them ❤

-Where the Dark Stands Still! So good! I read that late last year and quite enjoyed it. I hope you do as well! -That is a beautiful cover for Starling House ( a lot of beautiful covers in this video!). That is on my TBR as well. -I have yet to read any Taylor Jenkins Reid. I will curious to hear your thoughts on her work. Like you, I have heard very positive things about that book. -The Teller of Small Fortunes looks so cute! Hope I can get to that this year as well. Same with The Spellshop! -Also hope to get to more T Kingfisher. I really enjoyed Nettle and Bone (highly recommend!). A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking was a decent read (though more for a younger audience). -Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell! I have had that book on my TBR for eons. 2025 will be the year! Well, that's a very promising list. Thanks for sharing and happy reading. Hope you find some new favorites this year!

i remember this one time i felt completely stuck, like no matter what i did, life just wasn’t moving forward. i tried everything-manifestation journals, vision boards, all that stuff-but it felt like i was missing something. then i stumbled across this book, Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and it hit different. it wasn’t just about manifesting; it was about understanding the energy i was putting out into the world. honestly, it changed everything. if you’re feeling stuck too, you might want to check out this book.

Dark Academia x Fantasy is my absolute favourite genre/subgenre ever! I would LOVE to hear some of your recommendations that fall under this theme, I'm keen to add as many to my tbr as possible! :)

a while back, i hit a point where i felt like everything was out of my control. i kept wondering why other people seemed to get what they wanted while i was stuck in the same place. then i came across this book called Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane. i wasn’t expecting much, but the way it explains the connection between your energy and the life you create? it blew my mind. it’s not just a book, it’s like a blueprint for turning your life around.

Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell is a very different style than Piranesi, but I still enjoyed it. It's written essentially as if it were actually from the mid-1800's, so that type of writing style, spelling conventions, illustrations, etc. It gave me a lot to think about! I need to re-read it at some point--there's so much in the story I'm sure I missed some of the themes and points being made.

i remember this one night i was scrolling aimlessly, feeling like i had hit rock bottom. it felt like nothing i wanted was ever going to happen for me. i don’t know why, but i clicked on this link about the book Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and something about it drew me in. the more i read, the more i felt like it was written just for me. it’s wild how much a single book can change your perspective.

i used to think manifesting was all about repeating affirmations and hoping for the best. i tried it for months and…nothing. i was so frustrated. then i heard about this book, Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and how it breaks down the science and energy behind manifestation. it’s like it flipped a switch in my brain. once i started applying what i learned, things started falling into place like never before. worth checking out if you’re serious about manifesting.

so there was this period in my life when i kept attracting the wrong people, wrong opportunities, everything just felt…off. i couldn’t figure out why it kept happening. then one day, a friend mentioned a book called Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, saying it helped them see the patterns they didn’t even realize they had. i decided to give it a read, and wow, it opened my eyes to how much my own energy was shaping my life. seriously, this book is something else.
