What is the advantage to use Pirate ship over eBay shipping? Any disadvantages? Do you have to do it manually or can it be connected?

There’s no real advantage of disadvantage to be honest. You can link your eBay store so all of your sales will be in there. I (Will) like to use Pirateship because of the layout and find it’s more visually pleasing 🤣 I’ve been using it for years and I am comfortable with it.

PSA: look into this but I read that the magic erasers should be used with gloves to prevent toxic chemicals from touching your skin. Magic Erasers are made of melamine foam, a foam-like material that's a copolymer of formaldehyde, melamine, and sodium bisulfite

Hokas for $15 is AMAZING!! My GW prices new Hokas between $39-59! I can still flip them for 80 to 90 but I would die to get Hokas for $15! Hokas are my bread and butter! They all sell as long as they have tread! Those motocross boots are in like new conditions. They were worn one time at most, you could definitely sell those for over 100 bucks. I sold a pair of this summer that were beat up for over 100 bucks! Recently found you guys and I really love your content! I am learning so much and you have great chemistry between the two of you. Wish you a lifetime of happiness in your marriage! 🙂🫶

I have a question about shipping. How does shipping work? I noticed that your items were listed 9.99 and you were using big boxes and the priority mail boxes that typically cost 19.99. Are eBay and Mercari shipping at super discounted rates? Thanks!

Great question! We use Pirateship for Ebay and charge the buyer an estimated cost, and the price depends on the weight, size of the box, and how far from us they live. It’s much more expensive to buy at the post office I believe!!

And those hoka shoes if they sell for 15 and they sell on eBay for 40 by the time you ship it how much money do you make? Is it even worth it? By the time you pay eBay and you ship it and the gas that you're wasting trying to find it what do you make $10... if that? How is that a good find?

Great question! They sold the other day on Poshmark for $40(buyer paid shipping) our profit we take home is $22.73. These are a good pick up in our eyes because hokas sell super quick (which they did). And they were in fantastic condition. We usually leave the thrift store with multiple items so that “gas money” is spread out between x amount of items. Some people would leave them because they only resell higher value items in their business model. However, it’s perfect for us because we love bread and butter items that sell quick 👍
