I advocate for Compress to be able to throw teammates he has in his pocket. would be hilariously fun to throw a Denki or a Shigaraki into a team like pokemon!

The odd thing about compress is that his primary attack doesn't seem to knock people down like others. It's just constant damage and it kinda obscures vision really bad with the trucks. If he could pick up downed allies with his special, he would be in a better place overall. It makes no sense as a support he cannot pick up downed teammates while froppy can can. Also, aim assist is a huge issue on consoles with him. turning it off is about the only way to get consistent hits at range usually. Up close it helps a bit but not much :/

I realized the special action can be used in case the enemy is trying to 2 or 3 v 1 you. They dont know you have a teammate with you

U don't know how satisfying it is to land in on a team/player with a shigaraki or a mount lady in ur pocket lol and in the later rings keeping if someone seems alone they usually get targeted so it's great for misleading

So far, I’ve been loving this game. Every character seems faithful and is fun. The characters I want to play are attainable without paying (even if it takes awhile). And I’m actually good enough to win with only a bit of practice (compared to other games like apex). The only thing I’m worried about is player count, I really hope the devs can keep us all engaged because rn I’m having so much fun.

His special is not a real support ability and needs to be reworked. Also his y is not usable in most scenarios because everyone wants to get close as soon as they see him and he can be knocked out of every frame of it... over all great concept just needs something to make his a more reliable in an actual fight ( not noobs standing there letting you throw trucks at them). His (movement) ability needs to have invincibility frames or added defense when casting. And his special needs to also be able to grab downed teammates then he will be where he should be.

I agree. The teleport move really sucks when I can't escape 2 teams and just get beamed out of it. You should be able to compress downed allies.

As a Compress main, I'm mostly playing him because of how fun he is to play. His special actions is pretty useless if you can't communicate with your allies correctly, it's a shame. His beta quirk is good right now because players aren't used to it and just shoot it but later on when players get used to it it's probably going to be less useful.

As a compress main I think later on when players get used to his beta quirk it would have to be perfectly timed to deflect a shot. Basically a perfect block.

I don't know if it's just me.. but kirishima he's so powerful I played several matches and there where times when I weren't really leveled up and my team was gone and I was abel to fight of entire teams and kill eliminate them. Especially when it's close to zone I can use his ability to constantly push them back into the damage.. he might not be good long range but I don't find it hard to get close. Maybe it's cause the enemy's are new but still. I can use his charge hit them then use his slam on the ground once they stand up so they be hit again they try to run and I hit them whit his third ability to just hit them over again. He just seems so powerful but all other kirishimas I meet so far always got killed easily by team members.

Can you like stack/chain carry abilities? For example could compress pocket someone then kendo picks up compress and throws him, then compress uses his traversal to go even farther, then releases the team mate?

As strong as his alpha is now he still suffers heavily when the teammates aren't doing the heavy lifting. Movement abilities like what the big 3 have can easily close the distance on him. Which shouldn't be a problem I guess since he's a support but his escape capabilities are not that great and his special action is useless unless you're with a team of great communication

Fr. I just played a match against a Todoroki, Mt Lady and A Shigaraki with Compress. My team was looking around and looting while I'm 1v3ing them. I got the Shiga first and deflected all of Todos attacks and downed him but then MT lady got thick and then rammed into me with her kick ability. I got knocked instantly. My team came then but they got Shredded. I had a Dabi and a Bakugo. This was in Ranked. How are my teammates bad but me not bad?

Really ? I haven't tested him or fought him with the buff but I feel like he could be great for support, especially since projectiles are pretty good in this game, give him an ally who can deal with close combat and he can be a pain.

​@@AvarithCompress is weird in comparison to other characters. His projectiles are a bit slower which hurts accuracy and he is absolute garbage at close range. The best I can say is that he can really thrive but it all depends on the team

Not sure I'd put Mobility as a Strength for Compress, considering almost all the characters have Mobility in some form, and his isn't bad enough to be a Con but nowhere near good enough to be a Pro. It is just alright at best. But I do agree he was a good character before the buff and after. People just never see him so it is easy to underate him, and his alpha isn't long range and also isn't good melee range so it makes it strange in that way for people too. On TOP of his Special being under-rated. People call it one of the worst but it IS good, just very niche. I wish it felt more useable and wasn't used so little you skip some games not using it. But when it does get used it feels pretty good and has many unique things to it.

An easy way to make his his special more usable is to take the generic option of picking up downed allies as well, or if you really want to be toxic, to pick up downed enemies. They would probably still get dropped if someone hit you but it would be hilarious to just randomly kidnap a downed opponent mid-fight and run away

The bugs make it so i can never play this shit on ranked. That middle od the map bug is the most annoying shit ive ever experienced theres also anothing bug i experience where i got revived and couldnt pick up any items at all for the rest pf the match Edit: experiencing a new bug where I hear someone else's chat that's not on my team. Not as bad as getting someone hacking in your ranked match... I got that the other day and it killed my motivation. It was a Bakugo with infinite jumps, infinite uses of Plus Ultra and no CD on any ability.

Compress is so shit on PC. Since everyone is running Tsuyu, his beta is useless. His alpha has a delay and you never know where the ball goes so you have to pray that the object does something at least, and gamma is not worth it because the cooldown is long and there’s 7 frogs running around the map

Compress' melee game actually isn't half bad if you know his combos, since he has a decent lunge on his first attack Perfectly timed reflects into Gamma also makes it's speed not so much of a big deal Plus, you can shoot enemies in melee range by shooting straight down at the ground in their direction while jumping Overall, I think Compress is actually really good

Still think compress is the worst in the game. His shield only does projectiles. He sucks close range and honestly isn't very good long range. His alpha quirk comes out too slow to hit people. It's the worst alpha in the game. His pocket healing is pointless and because of that none of your teammates want to hide in the pocket even for ambush. He's just a bad character. Compared to the great support every other support character does. Huge shields revives and actual damage he is lacking a lot.

He's not excellent but he works well in his niche zones. As you said, he can't snipe with his alpha but if you can get close enough to land it and continue playing the range game you can get through health bars pretty quickly + the reflector for occasional trick damage. All-in-all, I'd still say he's better than Kendo

​@@Obad87 Grabbing and throwing your teammate to safety is also more useful than having to compress them, use quirk 3, then un-compress them. If your teammates dont treat you like the President of the US, then youre gonna get rammed HARD everytime as Compress.

@@Obad87 to start, on further inspection that's a pretty good argument as to why Kendo is better for combat. But I think it's best we stop calling Compress' beta a shield when it's really a reflector. All-in-all his role is to be support, not the main damage dealer nor the person tanking in the front lines. The whole point of playing him is that you're trying to keep your distance but still be in range for your own attacks

I have over 100 ranked games and have met exactly 1 Hacker. In 2 separate games, the same hacker. But just 1 guy. Obviously they still exist and need to be dealt with, but it seems the community has overblown it a little bit. Though I haven't hit Pro yet, so perhaps once I do it'll be more there. @@THEM4RT1AN
