Euphonium is literally the best instrument there is. Reason being, it is so versatile. Euphonium can be played treble clef Bb or bass clef which means they can be used for solos for trombone, tuba, trumpet, clarinet, tenor sax and there are hundreds written just for Euphonium too! Look up Simone Mantia, Neil Corwell, Brian Bowman just to name a few. After 39 years playing, I can confidently say I have never gotten bored of it. I have been all over the world, played for presidents and heads of state, on TV many times and have taught for nearly 27 years. Just about every single march ever written features Euphonium at some point. Take Col. Bogey March by Kenneth Alford, the entire march features a beautiful Euphonium counter melody throughout. You, my friend, play the best instrument in the world.
