Even if it turns out that Trent is the father, I would never let the grandmother be around her grandson anymore. That’s just foul. What kind of grandmother would call a baby a bastard when they didn’t ask to be here? It’s also messed up that the grandmother claimed the other girl’s (Ashley’s) child as her grandchild but not claim the other. I don’t think she deserves the right to be a grandmother. Period.

But you have to understand when you have a child it is absolutely not your right to tell the other parent of that child that they cannot have their mother or father or anybody else around them unless you take it to court. In the last case, when Steve started reading the lie detector results, I lost it when Tracy started sneaking behind Trent and tried to hide from the audience, cameras AND Chastity. The gestures she made to Ashley with her eyes and lips peeping from behind Trent's back and later rolled her eyes in despair when it turned out to be his baby are all priceless. That lady is hilarious, even when she's angry. I had to replay that part three times to get the laughs of the day, she was like a little girl.

I see that behaviour all the time with children on the autism spectrum when they are overwhelmed and being on tv is no comfort zone for people who need strict structure and routine in their lives. The fact that she's done it before further indicates that it's her way of coping. And I think he knew it all along. He will use it against her to take that child away from her. He's not a nice man - he used her because she gave him what pleased him. Out of a twenty-year marriage and he brings two children into this world almost immediately, both with girls less than half his age. He will win that child because he can afford good legal counsel while she can't, and he'll wreck her mentally for the rest of her life. But he will not feel an iota of guilt. I sincerely hope that I'm totally wrong about the situation but I doubt that.

I felt the same as most of everyone, such a turbulent situation. Who wants to have a grandma being that way and talking about a baby like that. But it was good to see her be open to changing and hopefully growing inside a bit in the future. So glad Steve went back there and proved his point with a well down mock but also being honest that he was right. What a more positive and unanticipated change. And shout out to the other grandma for being chill and carried herself well. Maybe both kids grow up being loved and spoiled by their shared grandma.
