These EASY Smashed Taco Burger - Is this the best way to make em?

One thing we found when making smash tacos was that the meat, when in patty form vs crumpled, seems to need extra seasoning for some reason. So even though you added a bit extra when forming the balls, your comment that it may need a little more seasoning is consistent with what we’ve found. Those look really good. Those bolillo rolls are common, every day items in every grocery store bakery in the Rio Grande Valley where we spend winters. Soft, pillowy goodness! Now I’m gonna have to try this version. I particularly like the thin sliced onion and jalapeños. Yum!

Looks marvelous! I'm not too sure about the tajin (but I've only had the powdered version, and I used way too much each time). A bowl of cheesy refried beans on the side, and this one's a feast!

What did you Munckin think of the sandwich, maybe a little dash of Taco Seasoning would be enough to suit the Chef? Looked good enough to me and if I needed a dash of something then set out the shakers. Usually food is fixed pretty darn good and I'm happy with it and the cook always invites me back.
