I am making my own ‘Clueless Snakeword’ puzzle books. These are my own invention. I got my first 3 published today!! 1 sale made so far, to myself 😂. I wanted one so I can see the quality and take pictures of the actual book for A+ content. Hopefully people will check them out, they are lots of fun and original new puzzles. Love your videos. Hopefully one day you’ll be saying my books have been making lots of sales. My printing costs are more as I have 1 puzzle per page and a page count of 254 so listed at the minimum price Amazon allow. You’re right about not being a get rich quick scheme, but here’s hoping!😊I think the hardest part for me getting the books found as people won’t have heard of Snakeword puzzles so won’t be searching for them. Time will tell I guess

My KDP plan is to create word searches, word scrambles, crosswords, and mazes. Each book will have Spanish and German versions. As far as logbooks and journals go, I will outsource them to ensure that I have an interior that is unique and won't get my account suspended.

which instant puzzle generator are you using? I found a couple when I searched and want to make sure I'm doing the right one before I buy since there are no refunds. Also, how easy would it be to download a whole book of puzzles as a pdf, then upload that pdf to a formatting software and play with it more by adding graphics, text, maybe dot to dots. There isn't anything in your export files that prevents you for further breaking down the puzzles and adjusting the formatting, is there?

People have been able to sell a lot of books by using free methods of promotion which just takes a lot more time if you have the patience to do that. The majority of people start out with small budgets for advertising and then increase over time as they make more sales.

Yes, in the Ads console you can see if the sale was due to the ad.... in my experience with KDP you most often spend more on ads, than you gain with ad-sales and it seems to be gambling to me. Thats why I would not recommend ads to begin with... I sale much more organically, but often E-Books with content, not low-content softcovers. Soft cover sales are rather rare.

How do you create your word file that you uploaded into IPG? like how does IPG know which words are for which pages etc? (I am new to both gpt and ipg and would like to understand before i buy it)

The software gives you an example file to show you how to format your word lists but it's very simple. You just put a blank line between each new word list and that's how it knows when a new puzzle should begin.

Royalties is what you get from Amazon after all costs associated with printing and selling the book. Amazon ad fees are something you will pay separately.

Amazon does have a question on KDP that you have to mark whether or not you used AI in the creation of any part of your product, but marking yes doesn't mean they won't publish your book. I don't even know if they let buyers know at this point how you answered. So far, I *think* it is just for Amazon's own data collection. But they would be a massive hypocrite if they didn't allow it, because they've started reaching out to authors individually and inviting them to produce an audiobook with Amazon using "virtual voices". They don't say AI anywhere in the email, but they're using it themselves for content creation at this point.

You could technically do it within the tool, just add blank pages and add whatever text you want on them. But otherwise you could export to Powerpoint if you have the version that allows you to do that.

I am VERY surprised they can get 2 puzzles per page with space between the puzzles at LARGE PRINT sizing. I just tried in MS Word at size 16 (minimum LARGE print in my understanding) and it does not fit, even with small margins. Anyone here own the book and can confirm?

With BookBolt you can not set the number of letters in the grid which makes it unusable for making children's puzzles where you'd want to have a smaller grid size. Too bad. For me that's a deal breaker

This is not a 1-click puzzle generator. All word search Amazon books have an instruction page at the beginning of the book. In my opinion, Instant puzzle generator, does not create it and does not add it in the PDF file.

109 pages with two puzzles per page plus answers and explaining the rules in the first few pages means they can’t have the 200 puzzles they claim to have. 2 per page would be 100 pages, say lose 3 at the beginning leaves 6 pages for answers? For 200 puzzles? Something doesn’t add up!

You only need a few pages for the solutions because the solutions are really small so you can fit lots onto one page.

you're right, some of those top puzzle books are rip-offs. if you look at the bad reviews, you find out that they don't give the volume of puzzles promised. and the answers are not provided, you have to download them. but i guess that leaves the door open for good honest authors.

Instant puzzle generator isn't perfect. Most of the time rack your brains for 25-30 words per puzzle and part of the listed words disappear. Shuffle button to shake things up as suggested in the training video but it has difficulty uploading them all😕
