I think for your next video you should try x for ur research and y for ur confirm pls try this it is really good you only have to slide your thumb I figured this out by myself while experimenting for me it is like scroll wheel reset it is so quick if you master it and turn confirm edit on release on it is really effective

GAME CHANGER for resets!!! I've been using confirm edit on release so this was super easy to get used to. Pressing RT & LT at the same time then releasing RT to reset is way faster than the double edit binds

XBN44, personally i think the basic/defaualt edits have a skill cap which means you can only go so far but if you change to custom edit bonds your skill might drop for a bit but your room to improve is enlarged

Also confirm edit on release gives you higher input delay so it’s harder to do triple edits / fasts, double edit binds are faster if you can muscle memorise them

If on ps4 square for reset and triangle for confirm so quick and for xbox x reset y for confirm I am on claw and this is so quick you have to slide your finger from x to y or square to triangle and put confirm edit on release ON pls try so useful

Just unbind crouch from rightstick! Set reset to rightstick & set confirm to the same bind as switch mode! I know crouch on stick seems like a necessity on rs but its a distraction in build fights that took me a while to even notice was an issue with me personally because Unbinding crouch from stick didn’t seem like an option. its because your jump bind also uncrouches you for some reason along with just pressing crouch again, which causes confusion sometimes when you have to react quick in certain situations. Basically the uncrouching animation is slow so you might be just uncrouching in situations when your trying to jump or vice versa. It’s similar to accidentally pulling out your weapon when your trying to reset with having RB/R1 as reset (Moved my crouch to down on the d pad which sucked at first but it’s better for me personally To make sure I don’t get caught up in the Crouch/uncrouch/jump rabbit hole. after doing so I will never place it on stick again!

I've been using confirm edit on releass for months with the same binds as you except I have confirm on r1 for reset and I can tell you it made my edits so much faster than when I used to confirm them. Like Cole said in the video, if you are looking to improve your edits I highly suggest trying confirm on releass out. As someone who has used it for months I can say that with confidence.

Honestly peoples do what feels most comfortable for you. I've experimented on about every possible edit bind combination and the easiest to get used to/ best results are with having your left stick set to edit. You can have your confirm to y or x if you play claw or if you don't you can use the triggers/ bumpers for select and confirm. Really whatever works for you. Hope this helps

I struggle the most with “thumbstick” that i miss the wall sometimes and it immediately close the edit... but overall i had the same settings as you are showing, unfortunately i didnt know about the “together” press of reset and edit. So basicaly i was like “window-reset-window-reset” and now i can do “window-window-reset”... so it helped me a lot, thank you

I've been on Confirm on Release since it came out, but that Reset trick is nifty. With RB, if you mess up the timing, you end up switching guns which is devastating in a shotgun/build fight. With this, you'd just...ADS? I'm definitely going to try this out.

On my elite controller I put my paddles overlapping on another on one side and by clicking the top prattle it does two inputs within milliseconds of each other. It is a technically two button reset for controller. Reply if u want more info I can even send a picture and a vid showing it work.

the reset method is basically triple edit binds... you pressing rt is like your reset button then pressing lt is like your confirm button

Edit on release is better for triple edits than double binds are. Although double binds are better for single edits and sometimes double edits if you're a god.

I’ve mastered double edit binds and can edit real fast with any button as long as I can confirm with triangle, I can edit super super fast but at the end of the day it just comes down to what you prefer
