She is very underrated in some aspects. Her Leer for super Long Angles is very useful (and allows your Initiator or Astra/Harbor to save their util to push B) and since she is selfish, if you pair her with double duelist you don;t really have to set her up and can focus resources on the other duelist.

She was never used in pro level bec she isn’t a team agent in MANY ASPECTS compared to how EVERY OTHER AGENT CAN HELP THE TEAM NOT JUST ONE PERSONS KDA. This is why Reyna is the most used solo Q ranked agent in this game and it’s not close. She don’t have to play for the team to rank up. And tbh, it’s the most annoying thing that has ever existed in Valorant. Every other duelist clears space for a site take. Insta lock Reyna are the def of people who refuse to win matches mechanically.

reyna seems to be a good option for a dugout and secret anchor, but i still feel like that isn't enough to warrant having no extra smoker like harbor or especially viper in your comp. the added smokes means brim doesn't always have to rotate to the other site to smoke, and they give more options for the team both on defense and offense.

@@TeetsTV That doesn't necessarily mean much other than they are using this comp well and they are diffing the other teams hard. Like you said yourself, Reyna can have some plays, and in this map A site, her Dismiss is further enhanced, but the amount of value given by quite literally any other agent except obviously Chamber is much more than Reyna can offer, except the surprise value Reyna provides since almost literally no one runs her ever, but then, why not Yoru? Would love to see Neon actually zipping around like Grumpy's Neon and Yoru doing crazy psycho plays in a pro scene. I mean, even without fakeouts, Yoru is pretty busted, after all.

@@swordzanderson5352 I feel you. Personally if I were building a gameplan, I wouldn't include Reyna either. But hey, they have their reasons. It could be a comfort pick, there could be more layers to their gameplan than what we've seen, her Leers are incredibly strong, there's a wide variety of reasons why they're running Reyna. But the point of this video, and others on my channel are to show that you can run whatever comp you want (within reason), and have them work. You just need solid understandings of your strengths and weaknesses of your comp / the map, and build a gameplan around those

Wrt to the Sova vs Skye debate, Skye provides 2 things, flashes for executes and information. Since they're already running a Reyna, they have the execute flashes covered, so the extra long hard recon info Sova gives is super useful for them. For Brim vs Astra, I can't really say.

Reyna dismiss is actually quite strong in pro scene and op in the right hands. It's the devour that hinders her from being a playable agent. One ability per one soul orb is so restrictive and conditional for no good reason- there must at least be some synergy between her e and q.

The reason why she had to be nerfed was because Pro-viable Reyna was way too dominant in Rank, same thing for pre-nerf Jett and Chamber. Buffs are good, but there's a good reason why they aren't adding such 'obvious buffs' for 'no good reason'
