I've got to say, this video brought so much emotion out of me. I grew up going to my uncle's house with all of my family and friends for the fourth of July up until a couple years ago and I'm running a fireworks store this year and this video caused me to cry uncontrollably like a child. I'm going to put together next year a show like no other for my family friends and a whole neighborhood, to spread a since of patriotism and unity for all. I will then look for sponsorship from small and large businesses to begin a tradition for all to enjoy the freedom and enjoyment of our country's founding and freedoms. firework stands are just straight up scams, even in places like Ohio where a 24 pack of Excalibur shells can go up to 200$. However where I am from it only cost 60$ for the exact same thing. One thing I have learned from years of firework experience is that stands will sell for more than a local store. And I have also learned that most the time local stores are nicer.

2 things. 1. In the beginning its not called a mortar, its called a shell. The mortar is what the shell launches from. 2. The "wicks" are not wicks, they are fuses. They are what initiate whatever firework or pyrotechnic device you are lighting.

Here in Nebraska we have really big tents with 1000's of different cakes, mines, artillery, fountains. We basically have every C-Class firework you can imagine for sale close to the 4th.
