I think almost any fish can be a no filter no flow fish IF…… IF the tank is setup correctly with a deep substrate and tons of plants. LRB and Father Fish are my reference points on this as well as my own tanks. Now some species come from only fast flowing water and obviously do require that, but I’ve even seen LRB keep some of those in unfiltered and no flow tanks.

Yeah agreed... maybe not with a few arctic fish.. but anything else I agree

Apistogrammas are so beautiful. I think they are the only tropical freshwater fish that are capable of sometimes being more aesthetically beautiful than bettas. I would love to keep apistos but I need a 20 gallon. My 10 gallon would not fit them, and my 75 gallon is filled with mean vegeta cichlids
@CrystalmarieGrz3 күн бұрын
@@kbbtt the cacatuoides are the most beautiful. I have 2 20 gallons but currently not enough room for them. Eventually my 20 standard won’t have guppies in it and I was thinking a few different South American dwarf cichlids would be a lot of fun
@Fishtory3 күн бұрын
@@kbbtt some apistos can fit in a 10...but you probably need to move their babies if they spawn.... like A. panduro or inka50/baenshi .... or any cacatuoides domestic lines ...they stay small and are domestic spawned... agasizzi perhaps would work too
