7:48 The Injury system would be a cool feature to bring back in the Universe Mode. Having the superstar return seeking revenge on the rivals or maybe even have them be a surprise entrant when the Royal Rumble is coming up in Universe Mode.

@@nevermindgaming6848 actually it did... Tho it was done completely different. Rivalries would occur after being put out of action it can't be done like that currently. Just like the Rivalry system isn't the same like in WWE 12, back then the feud system was open to the whole show now it's compressed because of (Rivalry Manager)

The draft was the best thing that Universe had. But i never liked the promos. It was just wrestlers doing random poses with random text that didn't mean much. I also always turned off show intros.

Promo system needs to be improved. Just series of matches on every show its kinda boring.

@@barrymk400 Promos and stories are big aspects of professional wrestling. Raw has idk how many segments per night, so for a modern WWE game to not have a promo system/backstage segment system is bizarre.

•You also forgot the ability to have multiple Rivals in Universe Mode which allows the mode to have a wrestler feuding with multiple people at one time. It was in WWE 12 Universe Mode

I really liked how in WWE 12 Vince would say that did u forget about your other opponent it made it feel like u were actually in WWE and then u were forced to win more than 1 match to keep your job type of deal

Promos is definitely important and shows just become kinda nothing without them. I wish they did bring it back, but with a few tweaks and additions, like allowing rivals to set up matches for the next show or even PLE.

Idk... promos were always kinda weak, disconnected and sloppy. I never really used them after their initial introduction.

@@TopSuperKicker It's mainly the fact you have to choose from a handful of phrases at a time which put me off it. The minigame-ness of it also was kinda needless, in Universe at least. It was introduced in 2K17 where promos played a part in MyCareer so it made sense to have the timer and points there at least.

Youd think since the brand split came back in 2016 they'd put it in universe, but for some reason it's never been reintroduced. I'd love for it to come back personally

For me I love promos, I felt like it was a great addition to universe mode to start up rivalries. But I just wish they worked on the dialouge a bit better....honestly universe mode feels so empty that I wish the 2k devs focused on it more

It'd be cool to have dialogue specific for certain wrestlers, like some will have certain dialogue about themselves or have certain dialogues about other wrestlers, or maybe even if certain wrestlers are put in a rivalry like Seth and Roman, Austin and Rock, Taker and Kane, things like that

2k is so annoying universe mode has the most potential out of any mode they have if done write but they never give that mode attention same with nba2k they dont give myleauge attention as well. i guess 2k just dont care for us to use our creativity to its max potential

The promo feature would work so well in 2k if each wrestler had a “promo style” set on universe mode. You could have promo styles like Cocky, Serious, Spooky or Goofy, and have each style have its own basic lines, as well as a few generic ones that go across styles. That means you could have characters be almost like themselves by setting them to the style they cut their promos in.
