For the people who say "but they're trying!" No, they're not. I've spent literally an hour max on the unity tutorial and already know how they did most of this stuff. Coding is literally drag and drop on unity if you want it to be. Animations can be downloaded as assets and those models are def assets. Just to put it in to perspective for those who don't use unity and other programs like it, it's literally drag and drop. You grab the file and drop it into the project. It can be that easy. Then you grab whatever behavior you want it to be and boom. One of these wonky ass enemies. Except these guys manage to make it even worse. I assure you these games took them less than four hours to make.

I love accessible engines, but this is the downside of them -- kids get carried away, and think dropping a bunch of stock stuff in a scene makes them a game developer.. or that anything they assemble is actually worth a minute of anyone's time. I used to cobble stuff together like this when I was a kid, but at least I had the self awareness to know what I was doing was learning, not developing. The stock menu, stock GUI, and AR-15 from a $10 weapon pack really makes me think this is just a kid who doesn't realise (or hasn't been told) their doodles don't belong in a gallery..

I'd say when hundreds of thousands of people all send an email to Steam/Valve complaining about it. Rioting can also work. Or making their numbers go down big time. Or also make all their own games they made or published so dead that it's just a pile of dust. It's possible to be done and will most definitely work but it just never happens when it comes to companies like EA. They had to face the government to change but obviously with Battlefield 5 dying and not getting much popularity, instead of just making it better, I believe they're just shutting it all down. Might of changed though. When it comes to Steam as a third party seller, Its pretty trash, but as a platform to play games and get games for cheap, Its pretty damn good. Epic Games gives out a free game every week but it's usually a game they already gave out for free or just an indie game that isn't that interesting. But sometimes it's a pretty good game.

Okay, so here's the reason why there are games like this. In China, Lucky Draw of Steam games are really common and popular, most of the time they advertise it with AAA games and claim the prize will worth a certain amount of money, so they have to pump out fake games with a high price tag, and therefore people who paid for the lucky draw can't say they're scamming, as they delivered what they've claimed (in a way).

It's just a game maker software with an engine and basic guns and enemies, that you CAN modify and do games with, even entertaining ones, however, you have to put some WORK in it. Make multiple maps, make original design, new enemies maybe, story, cut scenes, etc. But the guy who made them did nothing, just grabbed the sandbox, did put down a couple zombies and guns, and released them as "finished games". He was just hoping that some people forget to get a refund, or rich people don't bother, or little kids don't know how to do it, so he'll cash that money in.

How do you plan to verify developer or a publisher? If there is a indie game dev how doesn't have a company registered? or registered in different country with different rules? There should be quality control, but they again how are they going to decide which games are acceptable and which are not?
